Nylon NATO Watch Strap by Sniper Bay® Straps Military Style Divers Bands 18mm 20mm 22mm 24mm

Picked this orange, grey and black Nato strap to go with my Seiko SKX011J1. (See picture). I purchased from Sniper Bay, and I'm really glad I did. The strap is high quality, and the stitching is fantastic. Normally with cheaper Nato straps they use glue which eventually comes loose, especially when exposed to high or low water temperatures. It came in a neat little package as well. Wouldn't hesitate to buy from this seller in the future.

I bought this for occasional use on an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch which came with a black leather strap and a black NATO type strap so I can compare this strap with an Omega original. .The strap arrived neatly boxed and came with a spring pin release tool. For me its another one to add to the collection but if you don't have one it makes removing a leather strap or bracelet a lot easier. These straps are of course fitted with the pins in place so the tool is not needed if going from NATO to NATO Strap. The strap itself seems well made and looks good on the watch but note this is a first impression review so I can't comment on long term use.Now to compare with the genuine Omega article. When viewed on its own this strap looks quite smart and I have no complaints. When placed next to the Omega strap there is a clear difference in quality, especially with the stainless steel fittings. The quality difference is no big surprise but does however need to be related to the cost. This strap has a delivered price which is one tenth the price of the Omega. I've bought quite a few NATO straps from various brands and seen a wide range of quality. This is up with the best and also cheaper. Strap fabric is good - no rough edges, fairly flexible and well printed. Colour is a little more 'sand' than true grey but I can live with that. Metalware is good though - none of the poor wobbling pin like most cheaper straps and the keepers feel solid and well stitched in. Time will tell but I'd happily buy more from here which is not how I feel about most cheaper NATO products. Looks a little different on my Speedy as well.

I had a wee bit of difficulty slotting in the narrow retaining bars on my 1972 Omega Chronostop watch but once in place the strap fits perfectly. The nylon is tough but has a soft feel which makes it comfortable providing a cushion beneath the watch itself and also beneath the buckle.A 'NATO' strap specifically for an Omega watch costs £150. I've got an excellent strap now for about £10 which perfectly complements my watch (see photo).Highly recommended!

I am very pleased with the sniper bay straps, they are comfortable on the wrist and fit well on my 7.5 inch wrist. Very easy to interchange from strap to strap. The one I use most to work in the construction industry is holding up well so they are quite hard wearing.The only negative is there is some excess strap where the buckle is not adjustable, the smaller the wrist the more excess strap. Could be cut down to size though.

I bought 2 NATO straps from 2 different makers. Because i wanted this particular strap with the metal keeper and the other with a nylon one.This strap is the thinner of the 2 but half the price. It still feels quality. It has a nice finish on the holes and strap ends (no fraying). There are 13 holes and my 7 1/2" wrist uses the middle hole. There is a little adjustment at first because the buckle naturally sits right on the side of the wrist which is a pain. But can be adjusted to sit in the middle.Good price and comfortable.

Bought to replace a broken canvas style strap on a citizen eco drive (they wanted £45)I wanted something that I can wear all the time, at work, at rest, in the shower.This fits the bill, I had looked at others with velcro fastening, but I wasn't impressed.Hardest decision, was which colour, the supplied 'tool' made attaching the strap a doddle.I've worn the watch 24/7 since it was delivered * and I'm very happy with my purchase.Delivered * not a comment against Sniper Bay Straps, but Amazon, the strap was delivered in a box large enough to fit 20+ straps...smaller package would have fit through the letter box, instead of a neighbour having to take the delivery..

Although I would not agree with the description of the fabric being 'super smooth', the strap is comfortable to wear for extended periods of time.The quality of construction appears to be high, and the inclusion of the tool, which was omitted from a competitor's much higher priced strap, is an added bonus.The length of the strap is approximately 10.5 ".When one takes into account it's very reasonable price, this Sniper Bay strap is a bargain.
