Look, I'll be honest. I was skeptical of a polishing pad that costs less than my morning coffee habit. But here we are. I used these to apply Rubio Monocoat to a wood project and they performed like a champ. The non-woven material spreads oil finish beautifully without soaking it all up like some kind of greedy sponge, which is a real problem with cheaper foam pads. You get even coverage without fighting the pad the whole time. The hook and loop backing actually held to my orbital sander without doing that fun thing where it spins off mid-pass and flings finish across the room. 10 out of 10 for not redecorating my shop walls. Zero scratches. Zero drama. If you're using Rubio Monocoat, hardwax oils, or any wax finish, this is for you. You'll thank yourself later.

Refinished my kitchen table, and after sanding the table back down to the Bear, Wood was applying a simple mono coat finish. These worked beautifully and attached to my palm sander. Made the job so much faster.

I’ve been using the 10-Pack of 6 x 9 White Non-Scratch Non-Woven Pads for buffing, cleaning, and polishing various surfaces, and they perform consistently well. If you're using Rubio and looking for a suitable applicator, this is pretty good for that. It's not hard and doesn't sand or polish the surface. It doesn't absorb much of the oil either. It just helps push around and get into the tighter spots. I prefer this over rags especially when doing vertical or inverted applications. I dip this into the cup of oil and then apply to the wood. The pads cut with scissors easily so you can make whatever shape or size you like. They don't really shed much either. I'll catch a loose fiber here and there, but for the most part it stays together. For reference I finished about 60 sf and used 1 pad for all of it. Overall, works well for Rubio and would recommend.

I’ve been buying these regularly for my business, and they’ve never let me down. They’re tough enough to handle heavy cleaning but gentle enough that they don’t scratch the surfaces I use them on. Go to brand of non-woven pads. Use it all the time to apply rubio monocoat with my 6in Random Orbital...trim to fit

Used to spread stain on wood. held up well and worked as intended, very very mild abrasion so just perfect to knock down wood fibres that stand up as applying/next coating. dont absorb too much but still hold and release as needed. they last a good amount of time.
