Transverse Suede

My go to hiking boot used to be the Columbia Trailstorm but since they stopped making those I had to find a new pair. These are pretty similar to the Trailstorm, they’re still lightweight and feel like a perfect mashup of hiking boot and tennis shoe. They’re slightly shorter than the Trailstorm but the toe length on my normal size 7 fit just fine with mid weight wool socks. They’re definitely waterproof and mud wipes off easily. So far they’re holding up well and don’t look scratched up or old despite wearing them most of the late summer-early winter and putting LOTS of hiking miles on them. The first couple times of wearing them they did cause some soreness right above my ankles on the shin bone on the outer side of the leg, from where the top lace sits and caused the tongue to press on that spot. It wasn’t terrible but I definitely felt and had to loosen my laces, after about 2-3 wears it feels perfect and causes no soreness. So I do think these require a little breaking in, when I first tried them on I really wasn’t sure if I liked them but I had been so spoiled by the comfort of the Trailstorm that I decided to just give them a try. I’m glad I did because they’re my new favorite! The color is also super pretty!

I had a pair of Merrill’s for 15 years and I loved them. The outside began to tear and I decided to try another shoe. I wanted one that looked a bit cuter than my last ones. A friend recommended Columbia shoes and I gave it a shot. I work outside every day 8 hours a day with these and I love them! They look good, have good traction, and my feet are comfortable. They are water proof and so far aren’t too hot.

These boots were PHENOMENAL! I was worried about having to break them in but they really didn’t need it. I feel they are light weight. I hiked the Rockies and up to Gem Lake in CO and my feet did not hurt. While in the Rockies it was very snowy conditions and these boots paired with wool socks my feet did not get cold at all! Would so recommend these. And the tread was good and grippy for all conditions.

These are comfortable and waterproof. I was happy with the quality. They lasted well.

These are comfiest hiking shoes I have ever worn! i have high arches and the arch support was great. I wore them most of the day after and my feet were not sore like they usually are. They look really cute too if that’s what you are looking for! We hiked up into some caves and the traction was great I was slipping at all.

Great quality and finish. Very comfortable, especially if you have wide feet — the option to choose a wide fit is a big plus and makes a noticeable difference on longer hikes. Overall, a solid and comfortable trekking boot. Highly recommended.

Gostei muito da bota, vai atender minhas necessidades! Porém, na descrição diz que é couro, mas não parece ser couro, é um material diferente, não soube identificar, mas couro não é!

A bota é muito linda, entretanto, comprei o número 38 e me entregaram o número 39. Fiquei desapontada, mas não quis devolver, porque retornaria para USA e demoraria muito para resolver. Infelizmente, vou presentear ou vender.
