Love this gimble. It does more then I need while doing everyrhing I need like a pro! The tracking is wild on this thing. I set it up, hold my hand up and its now tracking me makong sure im in the shot. This Gimble is super light weight. Fits in my pocket folded up. Stabilizer is rock solid. Lots of functions whether its to zoom in, roll the video includong AI edits. Tbh tho my favorite things is I can use my native camera and still use the tracking. The only thing I want this thing to do is hold my action camera. Besides that this thing is awesome.

This is an update to my May 29th review. I received a replacement gimble along with instructions how to mount the phone and wht case to be used with it. I followed the instructions and it works great! I am extremely pleased the way it operates giving me the flexibility of some many different shots. I am usiong the Pro 2 for my YouTube Channel "Cycling With Cancer". Linking the PRo 2 to the app on my watch gives me the range to set up distance shots ensuring I'm framed correctly. It's Great! You have to remove your case to fit the gimble. If I’m out walking around I want to make sure I can keep my case on the phone for protection.

We bought this with the intent of getting good video of my daughter playing soccer. The gimbal and camera work really well and the program user interface and all of the features are really top notch. But it was not easy to use. Having so many features and so much functionality makes using the thing super troublesome. You spend too much time trying to get everything working right and end up missing everything.

I just opened the package, and regretfully so. I certainly wished I learned how to use this product a month ago, while on vacation. This product is amazing. Love the tracking features, remote hand gesture functions, and more. I am really impressed and can’t wait to see how it performs on the tennis courts. I am eager to test its sport mode.

TL:DR - If you want a connected gimbal for your iPhone to do iPhotography / iVideography on the fly, this is the one to get. If you want a one that is less app dependent / can function with an action camera, you might want to skip this. The Insta360 Flow 2 Pro is our first gimbal and we used it during our summer trip to Oahu. The folded down size is perfect to fit inside our daily sling bag for carrying around town. I like the different options of using a MagSafe connector vs a traditional clamp to mount the phone / camera. My wife did manage to break the clamp mount and we had to spent an additional 25 bucks for a replacement. It has a built in tripod and selfie stick for different application. This tiny gimbal did everything that it was supposed to do. We were able to get some pretty stable hiking and beach footages. The connection to the Insta360 App is easy and it allows for seamless control of the gimbal. If you have an iPhone, you would also like the native integration to the Camera app as well as the Apple Dock Kit for other app integration. The AI subject tracking worked pretty well in full light and low light conditions both using the iPhone and the additional AI tracker. With all that said, it comes with its own downside with all these app integration. Because of the simplicity of the controls on the gimbal, it relies on the synchronization of your phone and your gimbal to carry out a lot of the function. If you had to use an action camera instead of your phone, then the operation becomes much less intuitive. That is why I docked a star from the review.

Very simple to use and ready to go right out of the box. I have an Android phone, and it does exactly what I needed. As for the free-tilt mode, I don’t really use it — since the phone is positioned sideways, it’s hard to hold it with one hand for a long time. Occasionally, the gimbal loses balance slightly, so I have to tilt my hand to keep the footage straight while recording. For the barrel roll feature, I wish it could do a full 360°, but it only goes up to 180°. You can rotate your hand to try to go beyond that, but it’s very difficult. Also, the gimbal doesn't charge the phone using the included cable. The light module works really well, and the 360 app gives you lots of creative options. I got the white gimbal, and after just two uses, the handle and other parts are already looking dirty. That was a bit disappointing. Overall, I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Works really well with an IPhone 17. Follows your image well. I had no issues with getting it to work. The carrying pouch is perfect for transporting it safely.

Après 3 mois d'utilisations occasionnelles, je me permets d'enlever 1 étoile. Je suis fan de Insta360 depuis quelques années et c'est ce point qui m'a fait acheter ce produit comparé à une autre marque. Je reste quand même sur ma fin (mes enfants aussi) : - La fonction principale de stabilisation fonctionne très bien. - le suivi de sujet ainsi que le cadrage est vraiment un plus. - les prises de vues générées et assemblées en panoramique et en 360° sont aussi de qualité. - De façon générale le gros différenciateur et point positif à la sélection de l'écosystème Insta360 est LE logiciel associé est complet adapté à tout type de téléphones même si je trouve que c'est un peu trop orienté Apple pour ce Flow Pro2. Petits regrets: - La base mag safe n'est franchement pas au top pour les téléphones à base magnétique android.. pourquoi? - la pince magnétique est fragile surtout si votre téléphone est grand et/ou lourd. Dans notre cas, cette pince magnétique a cassé au bout d'un mois.... 29€ (en promo au lieu de 32) pour en acheter une autre, j'appelle cela du raquette. - les accessoires ! que dire! Insta360 il faudrait garder les pieds sur terre. Les clients fidèles, comme moi, ne vont pas hésiter à aller vers du générique beaucoup moins couteux

As an iPhone user, this is THE gimbal that finally gets Apple compatibility right! The auto-tracking works surprisingly well in daylight (no extra tracker needed). App setup took 2 minutes max, and the beginner tutorials saved my non-techy soul. Shot non-stop for 8hrs and still had juice left.
