FLYDEER Universal Folding Bike Lock Steel Portable Chain Lock Heavy Duty 6 Joints Bicycle Lock Anti-Theft Bike Password Lock with Storage Mounting

I have a couple of the Abus locks this size. They are a bit more secure but a lot more expensive. I purchased two of these Flydeer Locks since you can link them together for motorcycle use. I am impressed with the locks and their heaviness. The case has a nice feature missing from the Abus which is a band over the top to secure it in the holster. I also wanted a Combination or Password (lol) rather than another set of keys. I was a bit concerned when I examined the package looking for instructions to set my personal combination. It's on the package but it's in Chinese characters. Fortunately the English instructions are in the Amazon Listing. I'll include them in a screenshot to this review. All locks can be broken by a thief but this style is pretty resistant and I'll use it with a cable when I feel the need. All you can do is slow them down and make it difficult. I hope this lock holds up over time and will report if it fails.

My first one arrived with a broken clip for the frame and I ordered a replacement, but while waiting for the new one to arrive I realized the holster is nice and tight and doesnt require being strapped down so I just ended up paying for and keeping both. The lock was easy to set, firmly connects and disconnects. No rattling sound even on gravel roads. The instructions are not in english on the package, but the ones someone posted on here worked easily.

This is a pretty good bike lock, kind of feels a little flimsy but it did hold up to someone trying to smash and break the lock, but I’ll probably get something sturdier soon

This will prevent someone from stealing your bike on a short term basis. Keep in mind you should spend 10% of your bikes cost on a lock. this could be cut if someone wants your bike badly enough.

Don’t buy it!!!! Lock reset is under your finger when you unlock it. Mine reset to a random number while I was locking two bikes on the car. I had to hack saw it off after only a few uses. Horrible design.

Solid Lock. Not flimsy. Easier to use that padlocks that had me on my knees trying to read the locking system. allows me more flexibility wear to place this lock. Really Like this lock. I'm surprised.

I can’t reach Chinese so I have no clue how to use this product. Other than that, it’s awesome.

two joints are so tight and one stick is even bent. Because of that, it is hard to move around and hard to lock. When I try to move around skin get stuck in between the join. Also, I need to press the button to lock it. The number dial cover is also made out of plastic.
