Q: With some of the review saying they were old & awful how can I Be sure they will be fresh & good?

I thought the same thing but this is Easter time when these are popular and more in demand and a lot of the negative reviews were in the summer months and we’re from a few years ago. It seems they have fixed this problem in 2020. They arrived a bit chilled like they had been kept cold in transit!

Q: Why are so many stale?! Has this been remedied?

I believe mine were old, far beyond BBD. Though I received in original packaging, the box was not sealed, it came as pictured which is an open box product, not new and sealed for freshness. They were replaced with same BBD but in a sealed unopened box and were fresh. I gladly disposed of original order. If you suspect that your product is stale you should not consume it as you may become ill. Ask for a replacement, keep your original product you may be required to return it. If not, dispose of it. Check where your purchase is shipping from~make sure your seller actually has the product in hand as required by amazon. Not all sellers follow the rules. I’ve had sellers ship from Sam’s Club and Costco, not cool, by the time it’s reached me the product is rubbish and now I’m trying to get refund. Not to worry Amazon sorted when I reported these sellers.

Q: What is the large or small eggs

Small. The seller has lied about the product they are selling. Instead of receiving 48 1.2oz eggs, I received the caramel mini eggs (definitely NOT 1.2 oz for each egg). Far more expensive than I would have paid for had I known that's what I was purchasing.
