Great Lime kick on food

I absolutely love this stuff. The first time I used it, it was from a packet in a box. I liked it so much I bought the large shaker. Even though I use it frequently, there is enough product that the container lasted almost exactly a year. This is real lime juice that has been dehydrated to a smooth-flowing crystalline powder. Because it is real lime juice, it has a true lime taste. Some reviewers have objected to the addition of maltodextrin to the shaker version of this product when it's not in the packets. The packets are sealed and air-tight so you don't have a problem with moisture or humidity that could cause the True Lime to clump. However, in a shaker, because it's not air-tight, the True Lime could easily clump up in humid environments. Thus, maltodextrin is added to help keep it free-flowing. I appreciate its inclusion because we have a monsoon season in Arizona, when the humidity is high. However, if your True Lime powder cakes or clumps up badly regardless of the maltodextrin, you can simply add water and reconstitute it to a liquid of whatever strength you want. I love lime juice on my fish. I prefer using True Lime over fresh lime juice on battered fish because I can use as much lime as I want without the batter getting soggy. It's also handy for baking because you get all the flavor of fresh lime but without adding moisture to the recipe, which could throw off the balance of liquid and result in a disastrous change in the taste or texture of your dish. If you need fresh or frozen lime juice, try reconstituting the True Lime for a fresh lime flavor.

I am a bit addicted to this True Lime. It’s yummy, and the next best thing when you don’t have fresh lime. It adds a lot of flavor to my cooking. I like it on popcorn too

This lime powder tastes amazing to me. Real lime flavor. It taste like they dried the whole lime. It smells like limes, this is good quality and can be added into recipes and mixed in any drink.

This is the best "seasoning" I ever added to my kitchen! I actually purchased both the True Lime and the True Lemon and they are both perfect. I have yet to add them to my drinks. I suppose I never even considered that, even though they are crystalized juice. Costco used to sell this lime crusted talapia. They don't sell it anymore. They only sell the tortilla crusted talapia. Well, guess what? No big deal anymore! I buy the plain tortilla crusted talapia and add the True Lime to it after I remove it from the oven and it tastes just as great! My family and I are big on lemon pepper wings. Well, now I mix olive olive, butter, black pepper and True Lemon and sometimes True Lime to the mixture of fried wings and we make our own lemon pepper wings! We also add it to the french fries and home made pasole we make at home. As I said, these two seasonings/ingredients are the best things I have ever added to my kitchen cabinet. Just amazing.
