Wife is a big fan
My wife carries this with her when she is out by herself and likes it. Feels comfortable in the hand and is big enough.

The knife meets my expectations
The cross bar lock is a little stiff, but I will get used to it. Otherwise the the handle fits well in my hand. I like the balance and the contoured scales. The left scale was not fitted flush to the liner, but the gap is small and I consider it a minor imperfection at this price point. I am satisfied with my purchase of this knife and will be using as an every day work knife.

Exactly as stated!
My husband is a knife collector, heavily into Case XX and Remington. He spotted this knife about a year ago. He has always wanted a D2 steel knife.I even picked up a couple of auto leaf springs for him so he could build his own. Illness, however, has taken knife building off of his“To do” list.He loves it! The smoothness of ball bearing action, the sharpness, the Rockwell hardness of 60… just an overall “ Excellant little knife!”The price was the frosting atop the cake!Keep up the great work!Respectfully,Mick LaBashCustomer for life

Came adequately sharp, then sharpened up to scary sharp.
Don't know if it really is D2, but it can take a truly razor like edge.Out of the box, this could shave a few hairs off my arm, but not very well. About 30 passes per side on a natural 10,000 grit stone at about 15 degrees per side past "flat" and a dozen more passes on a leather strop, it now will shave clean, cuts loosely held paper, etc. About as sharp as anything I own needs to be. Will update after I try some reasonably demanding tasks with it.As far as the mechanics, first omega spring knife I've handled. It works, locks of solidly, no play. Can easily "flip" it open after pulling back the lock. Both springs present, no rust, blade was lightly oil coated and the pivot, etc. also.I am happy. Interested to see how sharp it is after taking apart a deer.(Edit)After wearing in for a week, this flipped open or closed as well as my coordination allowed. I would advise preemptive locktite treatment for the screws. Especially on the pocket clip, mine came loose after about a month. It's not crazy hard steel like my Japanese kitchen knives, but quite hard enough. Resharpened fairly easily- Between sharpenings, responds to honing on a (completely smooth) RHC 64 cabinet scraper burnishing tool.(Second edit)I bought another one in yellow, it is a better color for visibility than the somewhat pale orange of the first knife (which disappeared while hinting- ####!).I was curious to check if this IS really D2, I had it X-Ray Flouroscope annalyzed at a metal recycle business. Short answer: NO. See additional picture of readout, there are substantial differences between this alloy and D2. The analysis software thinks it's similar to to Cronidur bearing steel- Which is a VERY durable alloy and pretty corrosion resistant...Honestly, if they were using that type of steel and advertised it truthfully? I would have been interested in buying one just to check blade material performance.Still a fine beater pocket knife, takes a good edge and holds it. And at $25 US, I only swore a little when the first one disappeared. Tool fills my needs.

Nice knife but I can't disassemble it
The Good:The G10 grips are niceThe knife is pretty lightD2 blade steel and almost 3.5" for the moneySmooth actionThe Bad:The clip is pretty crap. A deep carry pocket clip would really help this knife out.I can't tear down the knife, I found there was no way to remove the screws holding the lock together, I'm guessing they used some sort of locktite. Sucks, cause I don't trust a knife I can't take apart. The choil/plunge line is too sharp against the hands. When flicking the knife closed, the blade nicks your hand. The tip sits too close to the end of the frame. It's given me a couple small cuts.Overall, it's a knife that could have been awesome if they just took some design cues from other companies on grip length (so the blade won't nick you), and allow for easier disassembly. Also, a deep carry pocket clip would be great. I'd happily pay a couple extra bucks to have a knife with these features. For now, I've removed the clip and tossed the knife into my truck as a knife to sit in my glove compartment. If you want a D2-blade EDC knife with most these features for around the same money, go buy the BladeHQ.com exclusive Kershaw Cryo. For $35 it's American made, has D2 steel, has a reversible and left-hand capable deep carry pocket clip, and carries Kershaw's speed-assist open action.

Very good knife for the cost.
This will be more of a product overview and first impressions than an actual review since I have not had it long enough to know how it will perform in the long term.First impressions, very good. I am very impressed with some if these budget knives from China and this is no different. The fit and finish appears to be perfect. There were no cosmetic issues, everything fit together tight with no gaps, the blade is perfectly centered in the handle when closed, and the blade grind is even and consistent. The only two things I could possibly take half a star off for are the ball bearing pivot and the "axis" lock. The ball bearings are not silky smooth. This is my first ball bearing knife so I'm not sure if this a common thing or not but it also doesn't affect or impede the function or use. The same can be said for the lock, it's slightly more loose than I would like but works as intended and the spring tension is strong enough without being difficult to use.Initially, I can not speak for the blade steel. Being my first D2 knife I have nothing to compare it to nor have I had it long enough to state what it's corrosion resistance is and/or edge retention but I am optimistic it's acceptable.Overall, for the price, I'm not sure one could do better. It appears to be perfectly suitable for a EDC pocket knife.
