Sometime ago I purchased an Easy Tool Carbide Tipped Cutter to reduce the time spent on sharpening gouges and the cost of replacing them to allow me more time spent on actual turning. The retail outlets where I buy my turning supplies sell these cutters for approximately $12 a piece. These cutters are made of the same material and of the same quality but cost me $2.30 per cutter. I would also add that they were delivered in a very timely manner.

All as described, cuts hardwood without problem.

I put together my own lathe tools and these were the perfect fit for my application. You will not be disappointed in the performance of these cutter heads!
