Field Sport Inc .30-06 Springfield 7.62x63mm Red Aluminum Cartridge Laser Boresighter Red

I purchased this to help me align my scope to an old 30-06 hunting rifle. At 25 yards the "dot" was faint and about 3/4" wide. Not super precise, but I lined up my scope and was within 3 inches on my first shot. If you consider that a box of 30-06 ammo is between $15 and $20 per box, getting on paper fast is well worth it. Especially since I'll be doing this again with another rifle soon.

Sits a bit loosely in the 30-06 chamber. Not good for precision.

It's a great little laser. It allows you to get the first shot on the paper and then adjust from there. It would be nice to have a more powerful laser in order to "no kidding" boresight the rifle; however, a more powerful laser can blind a person. So, the safety trade-off allows the user to get close. I'd buy it again.

Good fit, easy to use and pretty accurate. Saved me some money on ammo while sighting in my rifle.

Didn't fit that good but the battery lasted sufficient to get the job done.

Will get you on paper at 25 yards. Don't expect anything else. I tried at 50,75 and 100. I had to bore sight the old way. Waste of money.
