Nursery Tales: Six favourites read by Victoria Wood

I bought this for my two youngest grandchildren who were heading off with their parents on a long driving holiday. Not only did it keep them entertained for hours, but seemed to help the eldest who was just under 3 at the time to put a halt to his car sickness. I'm surprised it hasn't been worn out by the constant requests for Goldilocks. His one year old sister adores it too.

This CD is already appealing because the stories are read by Victoria Wood. What adds extra appeal is the music at the beginning and end of each story and the sound effects. All in all it is soothing on the ears making it ideal for repeat requests in the car or the bedroom. Perfect for 2-4 yr olds.

My grandson loves the 3 bears stories on here. The stories are funny and engaging.

brilliant stories, especially for fans of Victoria Wood- good voices and sound effects keep it interesting. Only problem is that my nearly 3 year old daughter is going crazy for Goldilocks when she should be trying to get to sleep!

My daughter loves it but I find it very boring

good to play in the car to keep the kids calm,could do without the annoying intro though.well known story,reasonable price,does the trick

My 3 and a half year old will not listen to this as he finds one of the stories too scary. Pity really.
