Delivered healthy
They were delivered healthy, however, came with no kind of planting instructions. I waited a few days to transplant to another pot and a week later they're still looking good. I did read about planting lavender quite a bit before moving them into a pot and I read over and over that lavender prefers rocky, sandy, almost poor soil with good drainage over rich dark soil that are ideal for vegetable gardens. So I mixed some of my compost with sand and rocks that I purchased at home Depot and they seem to be doing quite well so far. I also read that lavender prefer their roots to be tight and confined so I made sure not to place them in too large of a pot, although I noticed a thin paper-like wrap over the roots (I assume this will decompose over time) that the seller probably placed for this reason. Lavender also needs a good 8 hours of sun and you must be careful not to over water since lavender roots don't like to sit in moisture for too long as they may develop root rot. So I water sparingly and make sure that the soil is almost dry before doing so. One thing I might recommend to the seller is including all these key points in a simple one sheet paper so that people dont make mistakes when transplanting and caring for their plants. All in all the plants I received looked healthy and I need to make sure I do my part to keep them that way.

Ew. No.
There is no way these were shipped healthy and got this rotten and dead during shipping. I've ordered a lot of plants through the mail and these were the worst. I got a refund, but I shouldn't have wasted the money on shipping

Well we tried
These came dead and I have not been able to revive them. It was a long shot to order but I had hoped.

Died in planting these TINY plants outside in the sunny area of Southern CA USA
Both looked green when arrived. Watered and waited and two days planted outside in the sunny area where another larger Lavender was growing well in the southern CA Sunshine. Two days one plant was dried out dead. Looked at the other one and planted it the same but was surviving only two more days. Both now dead in the flower bed and unfortunately will not buy from this 9GreenBox distributor again. Seems that the TINY plants need more strength than they have being soooooo small verses the established larger Lavender. Sadly the area of Lavender plants in Southern CA are well noted so it can't be the weather. Sad very sad.

Plants much smaller than expected but healthy. Plants inside ...
Plants much smaller than expected but healthy. Plants inside the package were not secured well. I ordered a few different plants from this seller and nothing is labelled, had to "guess" what they were based on my order

Kudos for the nursery.
Same thing with the others I bought. The delivery was fantastic, the plants arrived in perfect health but they are small so it's a matter of waiting and see the results and the beauty of it.

The better smelling ones by far had been dead a long ...
I purchased two different lavender plants both came in same box and were not labeled saying which were which. The better smelling ones by far had been dead a long time. I'm still hoping they start sprouting some new leaves, but I am pretty sure they are dead. The lavender that are still alive are doing wonderful.

Arrived healthy
Shipping took a little while but I didn’t realize they came from CA when I ordered LOL. The plants arrived extremely healthy. They were smaller than I expected but seem to be in top top shape upon arrival.
