9GreenBox - French Lavender - 2 Pack

Be careful buying this product I feel I wasted my money. Not the value I expected

First time I received these French Lavenders they came packaged perfectly. They smelled and looked great coming out of the box; I transferred them to a plastic container, took care of them per the short instructions that were sent, and that's when all hell broke loose. They started dying a week after I received them. I live in zone 9 where we get plenty of sun, and it hasn't been as humid as it could be--my other lavender plant is thriving, this one is just temperamental.The company is great in responding, but took over two weeks to send another one, I kept having to email them to check on it. The second set of plants that were sent were in shabby shape, not packaged as nice, and half the plant was wilting. I understand heat from the travel can take its toll on the plant, but I've transferred them to a slightly bigger pot and am still praying for the best. I'm not sure if I would recommend this to friends or purchase from this company again.

The cuttings were really small and their roots came rapped in damp cloth in extremely wet soil. After two weeks they died without me even getting to water them once. I feel that I should have taken them out of the soil they came in. It was so wet I can say they probably died through root rot. I had them in my sun room. THE ONE GOOD PART: even as small as they are they are extremely fragrant. More fragrant than my bushes of Spanish Lavender maybe i'll try again. The scent was spectacular....

opened the box and saw two plants - no directions, no suggestions, etc. Planted each of them in a container with rocks (for drainage), proper PH soil (over 7) and very little water. Kept them outside on my deck and in a southern location. We have been having hot summer weather and even though all the other plants are growing and looking healthy, these two are doing absolutely nothing. The scent of lavender is still slightly there and that is the only reason I have not given up on them. I am so glad I only ordered 2 plants. Very disappointing....

I bought plants before that arrived a little beat up but were fine. These are TINY! They both look dead. One is probably beyond help, although I planted it anyway in hopes I may be able to bring it back. The other still had little green leaves on it so I think it will come back. It seems that maybe Lavendar is a little fragile for transit. If you can find locally, you are better off buying from a nursery or maybe even seeds. There's a 50/50 chance these will arrive dead.

Neither of the 2 are doing well, I followed the directions and they still look like death :( only reason for 3 stars is because they arrived on time and smell lovely.

Some did great but some did not make it. The seller sent replacements but they also arrived dry and out of 4 only 2 made it.
