Q: Can this be used for 24" tin ceiling tiles?

Yes! We used this for our American Tin Ceiling projects - it works great!

Q: can you replace the blade once it gets dull?

Seems to be built as a self-sharpening system, meaning during every complete motion, it feels as if it may be self sharpening. I could be wrong, yet its mechanics and the physics of it definitely feels that way.

Q: Is the blade self sharpening ?

I'm not sure but we've never had to sharpen the blade since we've owned it. Hope that helps.

Q: Is the wooden grid painted on or are the lines cut into the wood? I can't tell from the pictures.

This has a silk screened grid painted on the wood. It will not rub off.
