I have externally beaded upvc double glazed windows. How do I use this tape to secure the window pane?

You need to cut through the old tape first. Remove the beads and glass and clean off all old tape. Apply new tape keeping the protective cover on one side. Try the replacement glass so your happy it goes in. Remove protection and spray liberally over the tape with soapy water (washing up liquid and water) this will allow the glass to slide as you toe and heel it into position. Replace beads and clean up. Job done.
