618 Radio

This is a great little radio and the bluetooth feature makes it even better. It gets very good reception on AM and FM in my area. I use this radio in multiple places. I'm an OG so radios are my "screen addiction". I have it by my computer when I am working. It's in the bathroom when I shower. I use it outside when I'm working on the vehicles or sitting around the garage. I use it when I'm mowing. I use the bluetooth feature to connect to my Shokz earphones coupled with earplugs. Tuning is easy and saving stations is straightforward. Instructions are clear. I'm not sure of the durability. It seems quite sturdy but I'm not hard on my electronic equipment like some are. Volume is decent but sound quality does diminish a bit at medium to high volume, as should be expected in such a small component. This is the third $25 radio I've bought on Amazon in the past three years. One of them only lasted until the rechargeable battery died. It couldn't be recharged. Worked fine with a cord. Oh well. The other worked ok, but no bluetooth and the battery meter on the screen always showed fully charged up until the batteries died. This little Prunus unit is the best quality by far over the others. I'll probably buy a few more as gifts for my kids and grandkids. They don't listen to the radio, but they love bluetooth speakers.

I stumbled on this unique pocket radio recently. We collect many high end radios including shortwave radios, single side Band amateur radios, weather band radios and others. This 2026 J-618 Prunus radio is an exceptional device for pocket radios because of its many features, excellent sound performance, quality of construction and reasonable price. The use of a DSP chip and reception sensitivity make this a remarkable pocket radio good for all sorts of uses. Additionally, the ability to connect to Bluetooth earbuds help make it a unique portable radio. With its illuminated digital screen, it's a radio sure to be enjoyed for many years. Solid build quality and rechargeable 2,000 mah battery make the J-618 a top choice and a really great gift idea many will appreciate. Prunus J-618 can connect not only to BT speakers/headphones but it can also pair like a phone to a computer allowing playing music from your PC speakers. This is is a great way to record, filter, and play music. My other BT transmitters will not pair with a computer like this. It's an amazing feature. The FM tuner is better than average for reception. AM about average. Sound is excellent for the size, a little bass leaning. Things I wish it had: Disable backlight option, AM Bandwidth option, tone control, ability to record to TF-card, but those are minor nice to haves and would likely drive up cost and complicate it. It's a great radio for the price and the dark grey looks nice.

Great little radio, it works fine so far. Very easy connections to bluetooth devices like speakers or earbuds. You can also play music from the sim card. The battery last very long, so no need to charge very often, which is good when you travel or so...

Great radio for my needs! The J-618 connects with my Phonak BT hearing aids. How to: turn off any other close-by BT devices. I needed to turn OFF my cell phone BT which was ON and with my hearing aids connected to the Phonak app. Leave your hearing aids ON. It took about a minute for the J-618 to connect to the BT hearing aids. After connecting, it was very quick and easy to make subsequent connections. I could listen to the J-618 through my hearing aids AND turn on the cell phone BT. The phone would show the Phonak app connected as "Bluetooth streaming" and I could also fine tune the volume either through the app or the radio itself...... This is a huge feature for me. (...and for others that use BT-capable hearing aids.
