Great book for 18 mo +
Our LO is obsessed with this book. Honestly, I was hoping this book would be more about learning how to stop and go like the cover states. However, the book is about opposites. We read this and do different activities that mimic the actions.Fun book.

A most enjoyable story told through drawings and a very few words!
I read this book to a small group of 4-year-olds. Many of them had either a cat or dog, or both, at home and commented on the similar behavior of their pets as we read the book. As I read it a second time, I let them supply the opposite words. Some of these pairs are less commonly taught: Smile/Frown, Close/Far, Silly/Serious. Since the drawings are not childish, this book would work well for English Learners at any age.

Adorable (and sensible) book about Opposites
I often find concept books lacking, it this doesn’t disappoint from a teaching perspective. Plus, my kids love it! We loved Twohy’s *Oops, Punce, Quick, Run!* and I didn’t hesitate to check this one out when I saw it at the library. I plan to get a copy and wish there was a board book version for my littlest one. It would make a great birthday gift for a 3 or 4 year old.
