Buy it! Hydrate and Go Forth!!!
Wow! I ❤️ this pack!! Probably so far the best pack I’ve ever bought!I’m an avid hiker. I have 3 other day packs and one lean running camelback and bought this one solely to ride bike and to use for longer day hikes.Because I wanted to carry a lock, pump, tools, and anything I may need for a bike ride I bought this pack. I also wanted the bladder system so I could keep riding without stopping and hydrate. The comfort and how it conforms to my back is amazing. So light and comfortable it hugs your back and stays in place on hikes and bike rides. The size is perfect. Small yet so much room for food, clothing, keys, phone, tools, and anything you May need for a successful ride or hike.I cannot say anything bad about it just yet. I’m very happy and I do think for just usability and comfort it’s probably one of the best bags I’ve ever had!I look forward to years with the bag and def think camelback didn’t go wrong with this one 💪🏽☺️❤️

Worse than my old Rim Runner in almost every way.
I had a previous version of this pack from several years ago that I have used extensively, but has begun to show it's age from all the abuse of day hikes, rock climbing, and so on. Since I prefer a day pack in the 20-30 liter range, I looked at several options before coming back to the newest Rim Runner version since I'm not a fan of the garish color schemes many other packs have at the moment. I made the incorrect assumption that Camelbak would have innovated and improved this model having had a few years to build on lessons learned... but you know what they say about assumptions. The only real hint of innovation was adding tiny pockets onto the waist belt, that aren't good for a whole lot. They're small enough there aren't many things you can fit in them. Aside from that I would say just about every other feature that matters to me is WORSE on this pack than my old version. It claims to be 22L but it holds less gear than my old Rim Runner which is rated as having smaller capacity. I'm guessing they are counting the oddly shaped external "compression" pocket as storage, but it's pretty worthless if you're using this in an active environment because you can't trust it to secure any items you stuff in there. So that leaves you with one large pocket and a mini pocket on the top where you can fit small things like keys, cell phone, etc. Even this compartment is smaller than it was previously, though. Now, I could forgive the failings in storage if they had improved in other areas, but they haven't. I'm not certain how people can rate this pack as comfortable because if you're using this as a day pack with even a somewhat reasonable load in it, you're going to notice after a while. The back panel no longer has air venting (which it had previously) so it sits flush against your back, so pretty soon you're going to want to unlatch the waist belt and loosen the shoulder straps so your back can air out a bit. But the shoulder straps have such thin padding on them that it will not carry the weight comfortably on your shoulders without the waist belt. Both the back and shoulder padding are thinner than they were previously. They're thinner than the generic backpack I use for class.Honestly, I could go on but this pack is not worth $100. I've been a CamelBak customer for years, and quite frankly I doubt I will ever buy another pack from them in the future. Their customer service is great, but the total failure to innovate with their products (and to even make them worse in many important ways) has lost my business. I would return this product in a heartbeat, but unfortunately I purchased it to take on a trip where we were gone for over a month and am outside the return window. For reference, I used this pack on several 20+ mile hikes and during multi-pitch rock climbing. It's performance was noticeably worse than my previous Rim Runner and is a big part of why I am rating this product so harshly. For casual users it could be a decent option, but for the price you can find something much better to suit your needs.

Nice pack. Works well. Good quality.
Nice pack. Is completely different from my early 2000s rim runner. Cargo space is good. Easily packing extra layers for colder weather. Organizer pocket is good. No soft pocket for shades/cell phone. Which is no biggie for me. Belt/hip pockets r great. Good quality sewing on everything.Drinking tube clip is placed horribly. Moved it down to the last place on that strap and was still horrible. Whenever u lift your arms it hits the tube. Literally worst spot ever. Moved it to the lowest strap spot on that side. Which is a more slender strap. Holds it fine though. Is a good pack. There r left and right mesh pockets on the side of the pack that r easily accessible while wearing. Nice.

Good quality daypack
I had an older version of this backpack and it had a front pocket that went the full length of the backpack that I kept maps and stuff like that in separate from the main compartment but this version has a much smaller front pocket only running about one third of the length of the backpack. That was disappointing. But other than that this is a good solid day pack complete with hydration and a hip strap

Great bag, I love camelbacks and have owned plenty ...
Great bag, I love camelbacks and have owned plenty but this is the first I’ve had that carries more than just some safety equipment. The men’s version but it holds more than the women’s and was cheaper. I am about 5’ 2” and it fits my torso perfectly 👌🏻 Well worth the cost and I love the new resivor! Wish the slit wasn’t in the middle of the bag but hey at least it makes it more easily useable for left and right handed people although the clip is still on one side and maybe two slits would be better, one for each side.

Best bag out there
Best bag out there.Went and hiked my first 14er this weekend, EVER! Filled up the water bladder with no problem, no leaks, and was STILL able to fit two jackets, tons of food, sun screen and bug spray, and more in there. It was awesome to have a bag that could hold a ton of water too. And the crazy part is that I never ran out of water since it was 2.5 liters. There were even pockets for more water included on it.Would buy this for anyone that enjoys big hikes as a gift. Totally worth every penny.

it worked great. I may have over packed it because I ...
Took it to hike the Grand Canyon, put my 3liter bladder in it, it worked great. I may have over packed it because I had the room so my pack might have been a bit heavy, especially with a full 3L bladder and two water bottles on the side. It worked good cause I could put the weight on my hips and give my shoulders a rest and tighten up the shoulder straps to rest my lower back. Also liked the little pockets on the hip belt.

Bought this bag for mountain biking to carry drone, accessories, waterproof jacket plus the reservoir. Great bad all around and not to big like some can be.

Toller Radler Rucksack

Light, compact, comfortable
I ordered a "used good condition" backpack from amazon. I was a little worried about the blemish on the back noted in the description, but when it arrived the pack looked brand new! I can't find any blemishes or tears anywhere. Its light and comfortable and the pockets hold just enough for a long day hike. The material seems thin but durable and the back is very breathable.
