AquaDoodle - Draw N Doodle - Jumbo Deluxe Mat

My three year old got this for Christmas and loves it--but his older brother and sister have just as much fun with it. The larger size is great, because they can all use it at the same time. They use stencils with it, trace their feet and hands, and just doodle. My little guy even learned to write his name using the Aquadoodle pen that comes with it. I love it because they can safely color with it, without making a mess. I just hang it over a towel rod to dry for an hour or so, and it's ready to be used again.

This is a great activity mat! We had a regular sized one meant for one child to use and quickly found that we needed a bigger mat so all three of my children could play comfortably. I had originally set out to buy two more regular size mats and came across this product. I recommend getting an extra set of water markers if you do not have some already for additional children. It dries fast enough that my kids can go off and do another activate and come back a bit later to play more with this.The small, yellow water cup for the wide brush has an anti-spill design if you do not fill it too full. This was unexpected for us and were pleasantly surprised. My engineer husband was impressed.It has a waterproof back on it so the kids can play and I do not worry about water seeping through. This would make a great gift for kids. Mine are 2, 3, and 5.

I did a lot of research and found that this was by far the best size and price! I was going to buy the classic mat at Toys r Us for the same price, but it is only good for one child or two if they know how to share. My two year old is learning to share and the Jumbo is perfect because it allows three kids to draw at the same time. The box only comes with one water pen and one brush tool, but you can use small paint brushes and small cups of water. If you want more water pen/brush combo packs you can find them on Amazon for about $5 or Walmart. The mat is easy to clean, and will dry quickly. Put a fan on it and it will dry even faster. It stores easily and can be used inside or outside.

I originally looked into buying the smaller version of this product. It is broken into 4 color sections and when I saw this one that was advertised to be so much larger, I jumped at the idea. My kids played with it for over an hour straight when it came, despite the fact that THIS model isn't four colors. It's just blue, through and through. I really wish I'd looked closer at that "little" detail. The four colors would be really nice. I think they'd probably play with it longer as time goes on if it had had that. Still, a great little product. No mess at all! I love that! My kids really thought they were painting and drawing just like any other form of art.

I ordered the DELUXE Aqua Doodle for the only reason of obtaining COLORS (not just that blue, which we already own) and for the different accessories offered with this DELUXE package. The DELUXE package did NOT come with other colors but the original blue color. Like I said we already have the blue. Also, other than the paint roller, the accessories were the same. No stencils came like on the packaging and the description of the item. So even though the product works well, it was incorrect and my daughter was sad.

Great for little ones that want to draw but can't be trusted with markers. You can draw on this forever because it dries and is a blank slate to start over!

I bought this for my 2-year-old nephew because I had read so many good reviews about it and it has lived up to the hype. My sister-in-law says that it's the easiest thing because my nephew can use any water-squirting device on it and while he has a great time with it, it doesn't cause any mess! She says she lies it on the floor in the kitchen while she's cooking and it keeps him distracted. She also reports that it dries pretty quickly.

Draw N Doodle is a great idea for a toy. The mat is well sized, it comes with a special water marker and a water brush. The concept here is that the marker has a water container. When you draw on the mat, the water reacts with the mat and while the mat stays wet you get a blue line. Once the water dries, the line is gone. So your child can draw and draw on the mat and by the time they get to the other side of the mat, they'll need a refill of water and be able to start over. Also, because this is just water, you don't have to worry about your little one painting with real markers or paint all over your new carpet or furniture. :D
