Cabot Seriously Sharp Cheddar Bar, 8 OZ

In my household, we're big fans of sharp cheddar -- the sharper the better. This one blows away the competition. This cheese is deliciously tangy and nutty, and yet surprisingly smooth -- like a much pricier, imported cheese. It melts beautifully as well. I absolutely recommend this delicious cheese. Thick creamy, sharp flavor- great in salads ,on a cracker (or 6), melts well over french onion soup & thin slices on a burger up the yum factor a lot-wish that it came in a bigger block, but I'll take it as it is.

Lactose sensitive compatible, this cheese is aged long enough that the lactose is no longer present. Allowing me to actually enjoy it without deep fear of what might happen later.

I grew up in the northeast where all cheese seems to have a lot more flavor. I've been living in CA for a couple of decades now but I fill a duffle bag with cheese before leaving NE when I go to visit. The cheese in CA is dreadfully bland. I hadn't been back East in a year and was craving cheese and crackers and tried all the "extra sharp" Cabot, 365, Tillamook, Craker Barrel, Kraft, Sergeant and they all would probably be mild or medium cheddar back east. Hell, I love the store brand Stop&Shop and Shop Rite cheddars so I'm not a snob. There is some seriously sharp stuff at ridiculously high prices in the boutique NY or VT cheese shops but store brand there is very very good. I'm still on the hunt for a mozzarella that competes with PollyO which I can't find out here but at least I finally found an acceptable cheddar.

This product has truly spoiled me. The name of the cheese says it all. No other brand can touch it’s flavor profile. People… it is one of the cheeses you should add to your Mac and cheese. Just nix what ever sharp cheese you usually use just maybe half the amount of Cabots according to your family’s taste.

Hi folks, This Seriously Sharp brand is quite possibly among the best extra sharp cheddar cheese, I think it is part of the Cabot product family. It reminds me of why I liked extra sharp so much when I was a kid. I got hooked on it at Safeway and Amazon Fresh and now it is my go to extra sharp cheddar. Regards, Neil

Sharp as they said it was, and pure quality. It actually crumbles..get cold sweet apples to enjoy with this.. I didnt even need a cracker
