If you have the digital display, don't waste your time on any other holder. This thing seems to have been manufactured by Mini themselves, as it fits so seamlessly and simply it could just be part of the car. It's sturdy and smart looking, and makes the phone easily viewable without being an obstruction. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

I've put mounted mobile holders on every Mini I've had for the past 10 years. This was by FAR the easiest! I didn't need to take any of the dash apart, it just slips over the back of the console. Looks great! Very sturdy, only issue I have is that I use an OhSnap ring on the back which is great for magsafe, but doesn't work for qi charging. But for me, it would be worth it just for the mount bracket! Great design!

Does not really fit behind the mini screen. When you put you phone in the holder the phone holder disconnects. The holder itself does not hold either. After a few minutes phone bends over.

2024 Mini cooper S 2 door, works perfectly.its a little giggly but not horribly.it uses a motorized clamp to sense when your hand is near or not.Worked perfectly for closing the mount but opening the mount it is a PITA and works like garbageWireless charging - 1005 perfectMount - PerfectDismount - 25% ok.

Installed this in my Mini (F5x series) and it looks almost OEM. It slips over the back of the center display and clicks in—no dash disassembly needed. The included little pry tool made removal/re-seating easy while I adjusted it.Once I tightened the rear nut, the mount stayed solid over normal bumps and the 360° ball lets me angle the screen where I want it. It holds my phone securely with a slim case; portrait mode has the most clearance. Landscape will fit, but big “Pro Max” phones or thick/ring cases are tight between the infotainment ring and the cluster.Tips from my install: snug—don’t over-tighten—the head nut so it still rotates; keep phone/case under ~10 mm for the best grip; and note it’s not for Countryman models (F60/R61). For my use it’s been a tidy, convenient spot for navigation without blocking the vents.

Fit great. Good mount. If your iphone is the pro max version, it would be difficult to rotate into landscape mode.. tight room between the infotainment ring and cluster.. portrait mode is find. Slim case is recommended.. bulky case won’t have enough clearance..

This seems like it would be a brilliant idea, however, it does not clip on well enough that you can push your phone into the attachment without dislodging it from the mount.Every time I put the phone in the clip, the entire unit comes off. I think I will have to use some 3M double-sided tape to keep it permanently attached.
