Their cats took to it after a couple days, just had to leave the old one nearby until they got comfortable switching.Only thing is it makes a little noise when it cleans, but it’s not too loud—just don’t expect total silence. Also, the litter bags run out eventually so you’ll need to keep extras on hand.Overall, it’s a chill gift for anyone who’s tired of the daily scoop routine. This is my 3rd automatic cat litter and I am quite satisfied with its performance. It tumbles clockwise/counterclockwise without closing the entrance what minimizes accidents that seem to be common and deadly.It has been almost 2 months since purchase and It reduces the amount of times I need to clean it. The regular cat litter box I used to clean daily, I have 2 adult cats, and deep cleaning every week. Now I only need to deep clean every 7-10 days, no more daily maintenance!I tried clumping litter but it has not worked as well as the crystals, somehow the urine smell is stronger with the former.The only reason why I am not giving 5 stars is because the tray inside does not let the urine drip, I believe a mesh would work better instead of what it comes with.I do use diluted clorine to remove the smell from the tray.Hope this helps.
