Good amp Good Dac Ok receiver
This is a nice amp/Good Dac/poor bt receiver. I have purchased two of these and find I'm pretty satisfied with them especially when used with a ES100 Dac/amp/bt receiver. As an amp this is all I can ask for in such a small form factor. It is definitely that much better than ES100 in this regard. I get a nice detailed warmish tone with IE800S which can be a bit bright depending on genre and source. I find the G1 and IE800S are a perfect pair. I use LG v30 as source and find it so much easier to go to the G1 without having to do the high impedance trick on v30, which is a must if using ie800s without an amp. I get nice sound of of v30 when I do trigger high impedance mode. You do get smoother sound with silky smooth details. But with this amp which as LDac built in, I can rely on it and have a sound that is accpetable easily.I do have to point out the G1 performance badly as a BT receiver. I easily get artifacts if the source is not within an arms length, or even slightly blocked by bodyparts or furnitures if you wear some kind of smartwatch that has wireless transmission. I know you get some range if it is directly in view and amp held in a certain way but I feel this is not practical. Forget about it Aptx HD function. LDac sounds better and doesn't run into unbearable sound clicks nearly as much as Aptx HD. It is nice to have but I just find myself don't use it at all even though I also have avantree Atpx HD long range source. Is is the codec itself rather than the device. Because I do get a better result with LDac. Sadly the only other device that receives LDac as a portable amp is the es100. But that thing just wow does it have range dopmare to the G1. The es100 has easily well over 30 ft range for what I care. But then the G1 is a slightly better amp also with a bigger battery. So depending what you use the G1 for, it is a must if you care to have nice sounds on the go.Just to throw in as extras, the line-in analog amp function works effortlessly beautifully, hence I have 2 g1's. I also tested coxial digital input from Sonos digital output, again, a graceful treat. But because Sonos is not so portable, I find myself raely using it. But if Sonos Connect is your source, this amp is a cheap reliable way of getting most out of Sonos. Needless to say as a laptop amp it is almost a must to beat any stock earphone outputs on any brand. I say this because the Alienware I use is disappointing in producing nice sound. And I'm not talking volume. But since I have the v30. It is by far the best source to stream Tidal HiFi and master. Do get the USB Audio Player Pro app to have it play hires. The stock tidal app is garbage :)I genuinely recommend the G1 for it's sound and usable portable wireless option(just). Hope this helps.

The amp is ok,not like the way it advertized.Tôi bad for bluetooth receiving. It will cut off if some off your bodypart blocking.I can't even move away from phone.Wasting money for this device.I'm planning to return for the next day.I owned too many amps DACAlready.I spent $250 just for bluetooth,I can't believe this company had disappoint me alot.Ibeen move alot on the road with my road bike, that the reason why I needed bluetooth amp.I have my Galaxy note9 and 990DT headphone.but in the end, this amp had turned me down.

Bluetooth range is just okay despite the size.
This amp is almost identical to the Brookstone Big Blue, which can be found at a much lower price. It is very nice to have all the different functions and they works as described.
