This is a fantastic and powerful submersible water pump with some really nifty features built in. The automatic on/off float switch activates the pump when water levels rise and shuts it off as levels drop, preventing dry runs and making it virtually hands-off. There's also a clever integrated handle that doubles as a float holder, so you can override the float if you want continuous operation down to an inch or so of fluid height. The pump includes multiple discharge fittings to match different hose types, including a garden hose adapter, which adds a lot of versatility. I’ve been using it to drain an inflatable pool, and it works incredibly fast, much faster than expected. The long power cord adds convenience, and the build feels durable and reliable. A quick test in the bathtub even proved the suction and output are more powerful than I realized (maybe not the best test spot, unless you enjoy unexpected indoor rain) haha! All in all, this pump does everything I hoped for and more, and I’d definitely recommend for any draining needs!

Awesome pump! Drained my 400-gallon hot tub in less than 10 minutes. I used to have a 1/2 HP pump, and it died after 4 uses on the hot tub; I just hope this one last longer than the previous. The pump is quiet and the suction power is very strong! Recommend Buying!

This thing is awesome. I have an intex pool that doesn’t drain all the way so I needed an alternative. For $60 bucks, you get the job done in no time. Little to no noise, great pump power, tons of water pressure coming out, and worth the price tag.

I used it once and was very satisfied with operation. The assembly instructions were easy to follow. I used a 1 1/4 inch drain hose, and within minutes I lowered the level of my pool to an acceptable level. I heard no noise as the motor was running underwater. It's important to follow use and care instructions. There is no off & on switch. the unit will run as soon as you plug it into an electrical outlet.

This little thing is pretty powerful. I got the 1hp only because my pump/filter is 1hp and my ocd had to have them be the same. I sold my home and have 10days to move so I needed something that would drain my pool fast so I could disassemble and move it to my new home. So I ordered this. It got delivered at 4amish but the hose didnt get delivered until noon so I waited until the movers left at 145 to open it and have it in the pool by 2pm. Currently it is 530(3.5hr of pumping) and its pretty empty. It hasn't clogged, or shut off or anything and the pressure is pretty strong. I'm really glad I got this one. If I needed it to take water off a cover or something then I may have gotten a less hp one but it is perfect for what I needed. Functions great and is quiet too. Overall very happy. Another hr or 2 and the pool should be completely empty. Its also not very heavy which is a plus since I'm tired of lifting heavy things. 🤣

My husband did the shopping research and settled on this sump pump. After using it 6-8 times, he continues to be very happy with his selection!It's well built and strong. It pumps a lot of water quickly, and it's not too noisy. We use it to empty a 500 gallon tank, and we're pleased with its speed and effectiveness.This is a good quality machine, worth the price, doing a good job very well. If we needed a second pump, we would buy another one just like it.

My previous pump was 1/3 HP and had two annoying issues: It was slow and it did not go down deep enough, so I'd be left trying to get the remaining water out with towels or whatever. This pump is great. While it does not feel nearly as solid as my other one, it works perfectly: It drained way faster and, more importantly, it got WAY down so there was barely any water left. Definitely recommended.

Works great, takes about 36 hours to drain a 10,000 gallon pool. Pump costs barely 15% of what hiring someone else to drain the pool costs, wish I got one of these a long time ago. Suitable for brush fire fighting in a jam as well.
