Mert Alas, born in Turkey, and Marcus Piggott, born in Wales, met in 1994, at a party on a pier in Hastings, England. Piggott asked Alas for a light, the pair got talking, and rapidly discovered they had plenty in common, not least a love of fashion. Three years later, the duo now known as Mert and Marcus had moved into a derelict loft in East London, converted it into a studio, and had their first collaborative photographic work published in Dazed & Confused. These days, Mert and Marcus shape the global image of such renowned brands as Giorgio Armani, Roberto Cavalli, Fendi, Miu Miu, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Givenchy, and Lancôme, and public figures including Lady Gaga, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Linda Evangelista, Gisele Bündchen, Björk, Angelina Jolie, and Rihanna. Better Than Anticipated
Excellent finish. Exceptional collection of artistic fashion photography from two of the best to ever do it. It should be noted that book is very large and heavy.

I am a big fan of Mert & Marcus and To be honest i am very happy to own this book. The same feeling to own a limited edition LP copy of your favorite music album... The photos are beyond imagination (obviously) and the book itself is incredible high quality. If you like hard cover photo books this could be the best ever made...

This is one of the best book about photography that i have in my collection. The pictures and paper are are amazing, it's worth all the money.

Amazing book, with tons of very artistic, very beautiful photos, mostly of the legandary Kate Moss. Some b&w, some in colors. Very big, very heavy. Will make a great coffeee table book and will surely enrich everyone's collection. For such low price this book is surely a must!

Great book of modern fashion photography
If you’re a fan of Mert and Marcus then this book is definitely worth getting, it’s a huge book full of gorgeous imagery from throughout the years.

Perfect coffee table book
It is a great size to fit exactly with the Tom Ford coffee table book and works well with neutral colours. There is no text and just great images.

J'ai toujours aimé leurs photos 📷 ( même si aujourd'hui, jaime beaucoup moins ce quils font et malheureusement je connaissais 98 % du livre )mais c'est un magnifique livre et le format rend justice au photos
