So, does it come with the marker or not?

My pkg came with a pen but I'm reading the comments of people that didn't get one. It's packaged in the top of the box in a little bag with instructions.

Can you use another dry erase marker on this? Both of mine didn't come with markers and it's a gift. So just want to make sure any work.

My kids loved this, the marker isnt attached to anything so that was easily lost, the marker is dry erase but if you dont wipe it clean afterwards itll leave faint writing behind
