Before Watchmen Omnibus

...but still good and worth the read

needed an excuse to buy the omnibus, and half off was good enough. merry christmas to ME.

Arrived quickly and in excellent shape

I love the Watchmen universe as a whole. I've also read some of the Before the Watchmen comics before purchasing this omnibus and they were great. I was excited to seem them all in the same book! A few things that really bother me though...1- They are in release order instead of all the same comics together. I would much rather have them grouped by Story arcs.2- She thick. Like real thick. Over a 1,000 pages. And I love that - It does make it hard to read with how heavy it is.

The product arrived in perfect condition. I want to star off by saying that I am huge Watchmen fan. This is what I started on to get into the Watchmen universe and absolutly loved it. This is a collection of origins for the members of both the Minutemen and The Watchmen as well as some of their enemies. This also includes issues of the "Curse Of The Crimson Corsair". This is the perfect starting point to the universe and I cant recommend this enough. The mailing process was great and the product is awesome.

Ordered this to add to my Watchmen collection. Came in perfect condition and is a good read. The format for the book is in chronological order of the stories taking place so if you planned on reading it by each character, then you might have some issues with it. I prefer the chronology format so to me it’s the perfect setup.

Pretty solid collection, the only one to include the Dollar Bill and Moloch issues, but they are all printed in the release order with the Crimson Corsair pages at the end of every issue like they were printed originally, so it’s constantly jumping around with the characters and dropping 2 pages of a completely unrelated story at the end of each part

The book is huge and heavy first of all, not a bad thing at all, barely fits on my bookshelf though. The book is in good condition but the edges were a little bent and the box was opened but that must be the deliveries fault. Overall, looks good and I’m looking forward to reading it

Este es un omnibus que recolecta todos los numeros de Before Watchmen o sea las historias que ocurren antes de la novela grafica original y/o pelicula en una pasta dura acartonada (Tengan cuidado con la humedad de su sudor de manos. Preferible leerlo con su sobrecubierta) esta se presenta cada capitulo segun en orden de salida original. Asi que si quieren saber como continua en donde se quedaron necesitan leerlo en el indice. El contenido extra son portadas variantes y unos pocos sketches. Altamente recomendable.

I really liked the art and most of the story lines. Its biggest problem is that the stories are in the order they got published in. This means you’ll have to continuously go back to the table of contents to skip ahead to the next part of whatever story your reading.

El hecho de que la historia alterna entre personajes, líneas del tiempo, estilos de dibujo y escritura, hace que sea una experiencia única y bastante digna para explorar las historias de origen de nuestros personajes favoritos a profundidad.

Storys are good, but the book is too large to read comfortably. Its 1100ish pages, and oversized,. Im a big guy, but it was hard to hold, and read for long periods of time.
