Is this product sourced, from china? if it is i'll never buy another mccormick product for life.

How "fine" is the powder. I would want to sprinkle it on food and am concernded  that it will "cake"?

It is very fine...it would sprinkle like powder...good for sauces etc....you may want the fine granulated....this will cake a little, but, excellent for making tomato sauces or sprinkling on chicken prior to cooking.

What is the texture like? Very fine powder(like talcum), or somewhat granular(like table salt maybe)? Finer, same, or coarser than table salt? Thanks.
