Beautiful doll with closet.
This is meant to be a fun treasure hunt to open the surprise bags in order to make the key to work the elevator. The instructions are mostly visual, but as an adult, I found them to be a little confusing, probably because I was expecting them to mean more than they did. Basically, you open each side of the closet with the key, you assemble the key to the elevator with three pieces that are included in the blind bags. After making the key you can use it to lift the elevator and remove the doll from the plastic packaging. I'm not sure that this task would be interesting enough for most kids to really enjoy the very short process of opening the packages, but moving on.The doll is good quality, and very pretty. I love her face, and her style. I think her hair gets a bit smashed in the locker, but that can't really be helped. I love the extra detail on her purple hands. The clothes are a cool style, but I think the quality could be a little better. I'm a toy collector and I'm used to handling very fragile toys, but one of the purple sleeves had a big hole in it after removing it one time, and I did remove the hands first of course. The clothes seem a bit delicate. The accessories are fine, they all fit and work well. It's cool that the locker becomes a closet, however there is a major design flaw since a lot of the accessories are so small that they'd easily fall out of the holes that are all over the closet. It would have been a good idea to include a drawer in one area, or make the holes smaller at least. One more thing that would have been nice is a handle on top of the playset. It just would have made sense to me to have one. Regardless of these things, I think Monster High fans are going to love this girl.

Clawdeen Wolf Hauntlywood Mysteries is a howl
I was so happy to have a reason to unbox one of these girls.I can't say I'm super thrilled with the "search" gimmick, and I found that the instructions were vague and not really helpful anyway.I do like the added use of the case as a display - not just the little elevator in the back, but being able to put a waist holder and use it like a stand in the front. I really like that, as these boxes are always a sore point for me. They take up a lot of space without a lot of additional play value.I like that Clawdeen's clothes and accessories are true mix and match - she can wear almost all of them (obviously can't wear two sets of shoes) or a few of them to truly make a unique style.Big selling point for me: She comes with an EXTRA set of hands! The doll comes with purple hands to simulate the gloves she's wearing, but also comes with a pair of her skin tone hands and one of those can hold the mic (or her purse) and is very cute. I don't like the rubberized feel of the hands though, and I'm concerned with reactivity in the long term with other plastics.Doll herself is giving Queen Bey vibes and I'm here for it. While I'm not unhappy with the choices for Clawdeen at the beginning of G3, seeing her dressed up with G1 vibes is nice too. I do wish Mattel was a little more consistent with the character vs the doll and the doll vs the art. That cohesiveness was a big pull for me with G1, and it feels very all over the place right now.Make sure you fluff her hair though, she comes with serious box hair.

Stunning Doll
This is so cool and cute. I wish they had these about 25 years ago. But lucky for me, I can still collect them now. She comes with a cute outfit and multiple accessories. The joints are flexible and feel durable. Her hair is amazing, with it being rooted thoroughly. She doesn't have bald spots or thinning. The closet, elevator stage, has little room for storage. But it is cool to set the stage where imaginations can go crazy with concerts in any room of the house.

Nasty poly hair
The hair is awful they really cheap out on the hair in these sets. Poly is awful the curls are fried and I'm just going to reroot her with nylon or saran for 30 bucks you'd think they'd use saran. Mattel do better this is horrid. The straight hair isn't as bad on frankie haven't got catty yet but sure it's poly too like the cost of the box is stupid if that's what's making them use poly we rather have saran then a box...

Packaging Damages Hair
Due to packaging her hair does not look AT ALL like it does in the picture. The curls were crushed, basically already brushed out and come about 4 inches off of the dolls head. Why doesn't Mattel package their curly haired dolls better.
