The Tactical Medic AFAK - Ankle First Aid Kit (Gray)

This is a Rykers brand AFAK. Brand is well constructed and well thought out. I decided buy a durable brand and fill it myself. Gray was only color offered on Amazon; contacted seller directly before it shipped, and was able to change color to black.Having a hard time finding details on best suggested ingredients for it. I used 4” Persys Israeli bandage, CAT tourniquet, Hyfin chest seals (2 pack, regular size) and decompression needle. With these ingredients , it appears to be bulkier and tighter on the ankle than should be. Thinking about ordering the compact Hyfin chest seal, and a more compact dressing than the Israeli; to decrease the bulk.Highly recommend the Rykers product .And welcome advice on changing contents.

I treated a gunshot wound victim with this. Having chest seals and hemostatic bandages accessible at all times is a great advantage if you're in a spot where you or someone else might need one.I have issues trying to fit CAT Torniquets in it without printing and jacking up my pant cuff. But it's not a problem at all with boot cut pants.Unfortunately I list mine a few weeks ago and had to order another one. It's still money well spent. Get one!

Carries a tourniquet, compression bandage, gauze, chest seal, gloves, mini-shears, and duct tape easily.

Carry it in case of need

This was a great purchase and a year later I am still wearing this daily. Very convenient way to keep an IFAK on you daily, either ankle or in your bag.
