Small but great! 2-3 year olds
High quality puzzles, and fun to play with. We are using these for our 2.5 year old and they are perfect. Love the image on the background so she can line up the pieces.A little smaller than I expected but nice and compact.

Pretty good introductory jigsaw puzzles
When opening these puzzles, I was disappointed that there wasn't a good reference to look at, like normal jigsaw puzzles have on the box BUT then when I took out the pieces, I saw that the image is printed on the puzzle itself, and you just lay the pieces over it. I guess it is good for introducing the concept of jigsaw puzzles, but the puzzle pieces really blend in when the puzzle is half completed since there is no contrast between the reference image and what's printed on the pieces.The wood is like a thin plywood-type of wood I guess. The pieces fit together very tightly.My toddler (nearly 3) doesn't quite get the concept yet but she does enjoy putting them together with me. Overall, the value is good for the price.

They'll last beyond the first couple of grandkids, maybe even a classroom!
Grandson enjoyed these. They are sturdy and will last beyond the first grandkid. Simple enough and small enough design to not frustrate, but pieced like regular puzzle pieces. Great value for the price. Ages range 3-6. All the pieces were intact.

Two-Four year old puzzles
Not wooden but rather a hard thick cardboard. Good size for toddlers just learning about spacing and shapes. one star off for price
