Pinnacle Metal 7x5 Double Black and Silver Hinged Picture Frame

I was originally hoping to buy a wooden folding frame but couldn’t find one in the color and size I wanted.We had our first kid and I found some picture frames with poems but I wanted to modify them as I didn’t like one by itself.Thanks to one of the reviews with pictures I decided to buy this frame and I’m glad I did. It feels very heavy and sturdy. The hinges don’t wiggle or feel cheap and the backing is also very thick instead of some of the flimsy cardboard type backings.The backing slides in instead of using the little rotating pieces. I’m not sure if it’s good or bad that it slides. Right now I think it’s probably neither good or bad. It works fine and because the backing is thick and sturdy I think it will Work fine. It is kind of nice that there’s no way for it to come out without purposely pulling it out.The silver border also adds a nice touch to help break up the black and give it a higher quality look.Overall I am extremely happy with the frame and I think it will be around for a while!If anyone likes the poem and font, the font is Kristen ITC. I used word art for the Mommy and made it pink fill with a red border. The little hearts were a clip art that I snipped half out because it was too tall and then just copied and pasted several with about 6 or 7 spaces between. The only size of I Love You is 22 I think and 38 for the Mommy and then 11 for the rest of the poem. I’ll double check when I have a chance and update the review.

I have a lot of my family's old photos from the 1940s through 1970s, and the sizes are odd. I want to put as many of them in frames as possible to protect them from damage and display them, rather than putting them all in a book where I won't see them that often. This little frame is great because for a nice price, I can enjoy and protect 3 pictures at once. The photos I put in this multi-frame are of my mom and dad in the late 30s, early 40s, before they married and when they were newlyweds.I like the simple design of the frame that lets the photo be the focus. I don't like frames with designs on them like flowers or a kiddie motif, and I really don't like writing. This frame is attractive and neutral-colored so it could go with lots of different pictures. I would buy more.

Very nice! Looks classy and modern, and isn't ridiculously oversized like some 8x10 picture frames. I like the fact that the black part of the frame is solid all the way around, with no "lines" in the corners. The little silver line is a nice accent and provides more polish than a plain black frame. I wish the backing boards had a little tab to make it easier to pull them in and out (they are very snug), but that's a minor issue.

The frame came packaged and wrapped so well. I was really impressed. My husband complains because he does not have a frame of our grandchildren on his desk. I put their pictures in it and gave it to him for an Anniversary gift. He loved it!I good for another year! :)

I was skeptical of purchasing this frame after reading a few bad reviews but took a chance and I'm SO happy I did! It is difficult to find a triple frame suitable for school photos and I ended up buying several more to share with family.I did removed the glass in each frame and cleaned it, then placed the photo in the proper position, added the cardboard filler and then carefully inserted the frame backing. It took a few tries to get the first one right but, once I got the hang of it, assembling all of the frames with photos was easy.Overall a fine looking frame and perfect for our needs!

Beautiful frame! It’s a little difficult to slide out the backing and slide back in, though. I would tape your image and take your time since the cardboard backing *does* get caught onto the frame, but otherwise, it makes for a beautiful presentation!

Perfect for those “wallet” size photos you get in your children’s or grandchildren’s school photo packages! I only wish there were more color options. I’m very happy with the look and quality. It was very easy to insert the photos. Took just 15 minutes. I would order this again.

We were looking to buy some frames for 5X7 and one of the Canadian vendors on the Amazon site offered something fairly similar for a slightly lower price but when shipping was included, it was going to almost cost more to ship them than the cost of frames themselves. These frames were sold by Amazon and when they arrived (on time and well packaged as usual) they were exactly what we were looking for. The hinges are study and the construction is quite robust. They are well designed and will last a lifetime. Glad we bought these - a fair price and good quality.
