The New York Times Hardest Crosswords Volume 3: 50 Friday and Saturday Puzzles to Challenge Your Brain

My husband loves these books, he says they are just the right difficulty. He doesn't like puzzles with themes and these don't have that. Also the print is not too small, the squares are not too small, the spiral binding allows the book to lay flat and the pages are easy to tear out if you want to. He has not run into any duplicate puzzles so far either. I'll continue to buy them for him whenever a new one comes out

The Friday and Saturday Times puzzles are notoriously tricky, so fans of those days will love having a supply on hand. I do. I stopped my home newspaper delivery and have to say the puzzles are one of my top losses. This is a really good price for hours of frustration and fun.

I wish I could say I can work these puzzles. I buy them for a friend who is brilliant. He loves them.

I like the fact that the puzzles were all very challenging but not impossible to solve. Sometimes, I had to put them aside and come back to them later.
