I had high hopes for this solar charger given the price but the more I use it the more disappointing it became without making my own modifications (see below). So: 3 stars for functionality but getting docked two for items that made it non user friendly. Pro: It's relatively lightweight and worked well to charge a flashlight w/powerbank I had. It took all day but did the job. Cons: 1. It does not open 'flat'. If you lean it against something to obtain the ideal charging angle prepare to use something to make the panels all sit at the same angle. 2. The provided carabiners are too large for the grommet holes and cannot be used. 3. There is an LED on the connection module that has no explained use in the manual. 4. There is no dust cover for the connection module or individual dust plugs for the power ports. 5. There is no pouch provided for keeping the power cable or carabiners in when not in use. 6. They removed the kickstand the prior model had that's being shown by all the internet video shills. Changes I had to make myself: 1. Purchased smaller carabiners that actually fit the grommets. 2. Purchased a USB C power meter dongle to help align the panel angle to the sun by gauging the amount power being provided to attached devices. 3. Purchased/added a small pouch to carry the cable and USB C power dongle. 4. Purchased/added some u-channel to clip to the solar panel edges to get it to stay flat. The clips also store nicely on the solar panels when closed if cut properly. 5. Purchased silicone USB port dust plugs (not shown in photos). Seriously, this is an issue outdoors with the small openings especially with USB C. 6. Added a Velcro strap/belt (not shown in photos) just for giggles to keep everything in place while being moved.

Lightweight, very thin, roughly the size of an IPad. 8” x 12” folded. 12” by 24” open. Tri-Fold. 6W at 6am using DC port. 17 watts at 5pm in the afternoon - DC port as well. Southeast US, July, Partly Cloudy. No kickstands on this updated model. No testing in peak sun has been performed but I am very pleased with the early morning/late afternoon results. Thanks Big Blue and Amazon!
