These Batteries are Amazing! What a Life Changing Story!
These Energizer 2023 series batteries are awesome! I could think of hundreds of uses for these batteries, but I ordered them for only one. My key fob in my Land Rover. Yep, it was that time. I started noticing that my range was getting shorter and shorter. Each day that passed, I found myself maybe half a foot closer to the car each time I attempted to push that little button. Then one day, I had an epiphany - what if those batteries in the key fob don't last as long as the car? I pondered this question for a long time. I began to do some serious research. I got on the Internet. I surfed the World Wide Web. I found many discussion forums that had confirmed my suspicions. The battery really was dying on me. At first I was worried. Could I really perform this car repair on my own? I mean, I'm really handy all, but those guys at the Land Rover Dealership really know what they're doing. After all, they're there, everyday, working on these things. They've seeing every problem in the book, including this one. After I though about it, I started to do the math. The Land Rover Dealer was going to charge me $25 just for walking in and saying "hello" and grabbing me a cup of day old burnt coffee. After I sat down to explain my problem, they'd offer me a wide array of batteries and solutions to fix this problem. Eventually, I could hear them trying to get me to test drive a new 2016 Range Rover. So, I decided that wasn't happening. I couldn't go to the dealer and walk away with the keys to a new $125,000 super charged sport utility that would make soccer moms drool at my next neighborhood association meeting. I mean, seriously, they'd probably elect me the next president of the HOA if I showed up with that thing. So I gathered my thoughts, and decided I could accomplish this repair myself, because I really had no desire to take on the role of telling my neighbors when they needed to cut their grass or tell them the paint color they just spent $6,000 on their house was the wrong shade. I would crack open this key fob myself and accomplish this task. I'm a man after all. I can do this. After finding literally hundreds of the same battery, I ordered this one knowing that I was saving exactly 3 cents from the next lowest priced one I found. I really did find the best deal possible (aside from buying a bulk quantity of 20, in which I knew all my neighbors would just be coming over to my parties to get new batteries in their key fobs.)I eagerly awaited the arrival of these batteries. 2 days went by. Finally, a little envelope showed up in my mailbox. I couldn't wait to open these babies up. To my delight, they were exactly as they were described. I raced inside, and jumped on the Internet again to find all those sites I had researched just days before. I found one - "pry open the key fob with a tiny screwdriver." I ran outside to my garage to find this man tool I surely owned. I slowly pried open the small plastic device, to see the original battery. I put that little flat screwdriver in there and popped the old battery out. As I slid the new battery into the hole, I could hear a groan of relief from the fob that had waited so long for this day. I popped the cover back on and ran back out to the garage.I slowly pressed the button, and heard my happy "chirp" from the car as the door locks quickly opened. I stepped back and pressed the button again, only to hear the same. I did it again, and again, and again. I found myself running upstairs and trying it. Yep, still worked. I was invincible and could open my car from anywhere in the house.I am happy with my purchase and would buy these batteries again.

Works very well!
Funny, I never thought I'd love a battery. My glucose meter stopped working. It is 7 years old, I had changed the battery once before. I ran to the store for a new battery and it didn't help. Then someone told me to try a different one, because sometimes the meters are sensitive and need a very fresh battery. I don't know if that is why this new battery works, but now I'm happy I tried another one.

Came exactly as pictured
I would buy these again. I was concerned after several reviewers commented that these batteries came without a full charge and not in the original packaging. These came to me in the Energizer packaging exactly how they are pictured and the package had an expiration year of 2022. They are working good and the price was very fair.

Excellent
After reading all the DOA horror stories, I ordered anyway. $2.44 for a 2-pack incl. shipping from West Distribution in Granada Hills, CA. I'm guessing the price would be over $3 for ONE at a local retailer + 8.25% sales tax + $4 per gallon fuel (but not if I rode my bike!). Worth rolling the dice. Ordered late Mo afternoon, shipped the next AM, arrived Fri. Not bad for 2000 miles. I ordered for my bicycle computer. As for old expired stock, the pre-installed battery in the computer only lasted ~25 biking hours. The manual spec. lists 1200! True, it was about a year from my purchase date, but most of that was dormant time during winter and bad weather. Mine arrived exactly as pictured on the Eveready card, with a use by date of 3/2022. Both tested @ ~3.2 volts. The removed Panasonic was ~2 volts, which is apparently the fail voltage. Looking forward to much longer life from Energizer + now I have a back-up battery! 5 stars for this seller and for the product.

Always a good brand.
Use these in my remotes. Need one about once a year or so. I keep them on hand. These are replacing the last batch which sat for a year and then worked when I need them to.
