I like this, but it is huge. Have used several different brands of med ball at the gym, and the biggest 15# I've ever seen was about the size of a basketball. This is several inches larger in diameter, making it tough to hold onto. Seems good quality and the grippy surface is nice, but just limited in what you can do with it based on how big your hands are. Also, it bounces way higher than I expected - almost broke my nose the first time I did a forward slam. Anyway, it's good enough, but would prefer that it was a little bit smaller.

Watched two playoff (football) games seated at the end of my couch, which put me 3 feet from the door, with a dog (Jaws) seated by my feet, a dog who could swallow a doorknob and who barks at cars a block away. Five people in the same Sunday living room all day, and absolutely present during the time Amazon states delivered. The item was not delivered, no mistake. Checked next block over (same house number) where Amazon sometimes delivers my packages. Nope, not there either. Amazon shows shipped and delivered within 40 minutes, so unless a drone dropped it on the roof by mistake, someone needs to deliver my ball.UpDate: Delivered two days later, however, it has a pin-hole in it, air escaping when you squeeze. Also, an inner tube break resulting in an oblong tumor like shape, not round. Will order, upon refund, the Amazon brand (4lb) which will make that my second one.

I can't say the quality was bad because my son can't even use it. He asked me to buy him a 2lb "slam ball" for pitching lessons. I read this description and it said "2lb medicine ball, slam ball". As a clueless mother, I purchased it. When he opened it my son said "What is this?" So....I found out this IS NOT A SLAM BALL! It is indeed a medicine ball! If you need a medicine ball...this is your product! :)

A 67 year old 160 lb male is using this ball and it burst. I would like to contact the company personally, but I can't find the contact info. The ball was purchased 1/28/18 and is used 2 x week.

These JBM Medicine Balls are excellent for toning and resistance training. I do Russian twists with them, and then lie on my back with the ball at my chest, raise it up straight, then back over my head until it touches the floor. Count to 10, then bring it back up above your chest, then lower it back to your chest. Repeat that in sets of 5 or 10. Great for eliminating flabby arms.

I got a 2 pound and a 4 pound ball. I use it for goalkeeper training and throw-ins. I love the 4 pound ball. It is solid. The 2 pound ball is terrible. Even adding air, it is so out for round. It is like throwing a pumpkin, but mushy. We have thrown them, working on distance. We have not slammed them.

Love this ball! Great quality and I love the color choices. I use it outside to do the medicine ball slams and it is holding up very well.
