I gave 5 stars because this product deserves it .. I had been bitten with my dogs two Boston Terrier out in my back yard it was a chigger, you came in and had to take an extra shower, trying to get em off and throw my clothes in the dryer as they were already clean... I purchased this product because i said, I gotta find something that won't hurt my dogs and I can spray my yard safely. This product lived what it said, because we have had peace out in the yard for the last 2 days I sprayed it on it was easy. There was no problem. Easy set up ... and it worked well. I called the number on tge bottle to confirm the safety fir my dogs and they answered with my question absolutely... I sprayed it on and let it drive for about two hours.And then took the dogs out, and absolutely nothing.was jumping on us... i will buy this again soon...

This is a banner year for mosquitoes, fleas and ticks. The ticks were really bad in my yard, even though I had put out tick tubes to try to control them. We have not had any more ticks since using this! Depending on how much rain, we will use it ever 2 weeks to a month. It does stand up to a normal amount of rain quite well, but we had 5 days of deluge. When it stopped and the yard was sprayed, even the mosquitoes were gone for a few days...and NO ticks. it will only kill the bugs it is sprayed on, so it will not kill all mosquitoes, but it keeps the population down. It doesn't seem to have harmed any of the beneficial bugs like bees, wasps or my garden helpers. We spray it in the late evening when they are not out. It's also economical, depending on the size of your yard, you can get multiple applications. I love the smell and that is is pet safe. Love that it is a natural product, not some horrid chemical poison.

The blue container (see my picture) is 9% cedar oil. The white container displayed on the AMZN website has cedar oil AND lemongrass. I ordered the cedar oil and lemongrass product in the white container but as you can see from the photo, that's not what I received. I used the cedar oil in the blue container anyway because I desperately needed to get rid of the ant infestation in my yard. I'll give the product in the blue container 4 stars because it killed ALL the ants in my yard but not the ants on the porch, which is concrete. I'm going to re-order this item and hopefully receive the correct container. I used up the entire container. Spraying took 5-10 minutes.

(1) Shake well. Attach your hose to the Yard safe bottle. (2) Set your hose to full pressure. Pull back the safety tab and turn the dial clockwise to begin spraying. (3) Spray your lawn, mulch beds, foundation, shrubbery, and other vegetation using slow even strokes. I didn't even get through step 2 before the bottle failed. I reached to pull the safety tab and before my hand touched the bottle the spray selector shot out and left water was flowing out full force and no way to control it. Did the bottle empty in 3 seconds? The bottle is still full so did any of the solution come out at all? I have no idea. I have used similar application spray bottles like this in the past: house wash, weed killer, but this one self destructed before I even got a chance to use it. It definitely earned a "not recommended" rating from me.

This is such a great natural alternative to the regular toxic chemical filled repellent. I feel good knowing it is safe for not only my furbaby but also my children. It works and smells good like natural essential oils.
