An excellent mix of ballet and boxing; FUN!
This is a fun workout! You do not need to be familiar with ballet or boxing to get a good workout. There is a great intro to know the right placement for each "position" whether for boxing or ballet and all are demonstrated well. There are 11 rounds, and none are so long you want to stop; they are fun and effective. I was definitely sore in the thighs (plies at my level), upper back (those boxing moves), and obliques. I like Olajide's voiceover, he is funny at times ("one pound weight is good, don't need to go over!"), and very encouraging, which I like. Leila Fazel is beautiful, and it's fun to pretend I am as graceful as she is, which I really am not. I am very happy to have finally purchases this DVD because I was initially intimidated, thinking it would be too hard. It is not, but it is effective at helping you get into shape, and it creates excellent variety from the other barre routines you may like, which is always beneficial.

Really liked the work out and concept
Really liked the work out and concept. It could be longer with more exercises. Plus the voice overs are quite creepy to me. Kinda makes my skin crawl at times. I don't use it with sound. Do not regret purchase but would not order any of their others.

Not for me
I read the rave reviews here and on collage, and I couldn't wait to try it.... but nope. It's listed for a resell after one viewing. For me, boxing and ballet do NOT blend well. Some of the ballet moves are pretty fast moving, and as someone who is far from a ballerina, it was fairly tough to keep up.The boxing is... meh. There are better boxing focused DVDs out there (Ilaria, KCM).So, although the concept is very interesting, the reality for me didn't hold up to the hype.

But this is one of my favorite workouts ever so I kept and didn't want to ...
The DVD skips a lil bit during the third or fourth chapter.. It's s really old DVD, even though it was brand new. But this is one of my favorite workouts ever so I kept and didn't want to wait for another..

Awesome Workout
I bought this DVD hoping to find something that would keep my interest since I find working out in front of a television extremely boring. This has been doing the job so far. It is a great workout. You will definitely feel it in your arms and thighs... and you will sweat, a lot, assuming you're following along with the lady onscreen. My only complaint is the voiceover. There are times when you have to bend over or look over to the side and he doesn't give you the direction to come back. I look over at the TV and she's already onto something else. It's a little annoying to have to keep your neck turned to the side and up to see what's going on. (Not exactly comfortable.) But other than that, I do enjoy it.

Fun, but challenging workout
I had to stop running a few months ago and have been searching for good exercise replacement that got my cardio going while toning muscles. This is a really great workout. It starts off slow for a nice warm up, but is also divided into "rounds" so you can easily do just the portion you want or have time to do. I was suprised at how sore I was the day after I did the workout (and a little humbled). Also, the boxing/ballet combo is just really fun. I find myself trying to concentrate on the workout, but it is hard not to laugh as I gracelessly try to do some of the moves. Great workout to add to an exercise regimen.

Blah!!
Like another reviewer,I sold this after only using it once-it was a bad combo of either being too hard to follow or too dull-I didn't understand all the positive reviews.I have been doing at home workouts for over 24 years and own a lot of great dvds.If I use a dvd once and don't find it enjoyable,I refuse to punish myself by doing it again.

Too easy
After reading some of the glowing reviews, I couldn't wait to try this workout. I was very disappointed with the workout that I got. Didn't even break a sweat and both the boxing and ballet segments were too easy. I'm not super fit either....just trying to get back in shape after having a baby. Caveat....this video would be challenging if you have not done boxing or ballet before. Can't say it's worth the money as I probably won't try this workout again.
