You get an engine and 2 gun bays. You don’t get swastika for the tail. It’s a German law it can’t be displayed so for sales in Germany. No one gets them. But there is no reason why Airfix can’t make them in 2 parts like other kit makers. The kit is small. A lot smaller than i remember but it was 55yrs ago the last time I built one and that was 1/72 Cutting out the gun bays from top wing is to fiddly for my eyesight. The engine is nice and a lot easier to build. All in all a nice kit.

Iconic aircraft so even if you are a new stater in modelling or returning to modelling after decades. You'll be able to make it look good. The covid restrictions got me back into modelling, and governments saying to stay at home as much as possible. I'm a complete amateur but still made a half-decent job at the kit. Pus the 1:48 scale makes it a bit easier for us older guys' less fiddly bits. Good kit I recommend it.

The actual model kit is great but Amazon decided to ship it without a outer box so it had labels all over the art box. Not good when giving as a gift.

I usually stick to Tamiya or Hobbyboss for my model kits, but Airfix had a great looking Ju 87 Stuka in its arsenal, and I hadn't built one since I was a teenager, so I decided to bite the bullet and go for it. I wasn't disappointed with the kit, nice crisp moulds, very little flash to speak of and nice panel line and rivet detail. The kit gives you the option to build with the engine uncovered or closed up. I preferred mine closed. The fit was very good and very little filler was required. The fuselage and wing joint went together very well. The finished build looked really nice, and after a bit of airbrushing and detailing it looked spot on. The decals went down very well too, although I did use some of my own stencils that I had purchased for this aircraft. One thing to be aware of, this kit does not come with the swastika emblem, so if you wish to apply these you will have to purchase or use stencils to create your own. Thoroughly recommend this model, hopefully the attached photos will give an idea of what you can achieve with a bit of time and patience.

The last time I built an airfix kit was about 50 years ago in the 70s. At that time at birthdays and Christmas I got Tamiya kits, whereas Airfix was bought with pockey money. Airfix have improved since the 70s but I think they are now where Tamiya was then. So 50 years behind where they need to be The fit on this kit required quite a bit of filling and sanding, and the plastic used on the canopy did not allow acrylic paints to adhere to it ! Also some of the frames of the canopy glass were molded on the inside rather than the outside, which would make painting them a real pain - quite a unique thing to do. The kit provides the internal wing mouted machine guns, however to allow them to be seen the appropriate sections from the wings have to be cut out. This is really weired and something I decided not to tackle as I was not confident that I could cut those sections out cleanly. Also for some reason there is no swastika decal for the tail - I can't for the life of me understand why Airfix thinks it's fine to produce and sell a German WWII dive bomber but including the correct decal would be offensive! I have not included a photo as I gave up on this project when it came to painting the canopy, I didn't have enamal paints and didn't think the kit was worth purchasing any for.

j'ai commandé cette maquette car je connais depuis tres longtemps la marque airfix. les progres en matiere de détails sont epoustouflants.je ne dirais qu'une chose,si vous en avait l'occasion,achetez cette maquette,vous ne serias pas déçu.

High quality modell kit of the german WWII dive bomber the Junkers Ju87 the famous Stuka "Sturzkampfbomber". A very good detailed modell kit in all like cockpit and surface. With various opportunities to build like opened or closed canopy and motor covers, landing flaps and elevators in different positions, opened or closed gun bays ... a fun to build but in my opinion not a kit for beginners.

Good product at good price but delivery was late.
