it works
works pretty good the only thing i have to say is that it bends pretty easily at the threaded end. when I'm pushing it down the chimney and pulling it back up.

Great brand, great size selection at good price
We heat the old part of our house with a wood stove and need to clean the chimney regularly. Needed a new brush for new-size chimney. A chimney inspector actually recommended this brand to us. I've been using the Rutland creosote powder for a few years now and it makes cleaning the chimney little more than brushing dust out of the chimney. Also, the correct size brush is critical to get a quick and thorough cleaning.

A tight fit
I used this to clean my 13x9" flues. It was a tight fit, which is what you need. A few of the bristles already started to pull out though. I can see this lasting a few seasons. Much better than a chimney fire!

No Rut with Rutland
This is an excellent product for cleaning your chimney of creasote. Brush has very rigid bristles and does not bend when great force is placed on it in thrusting to remove creasote. I would not hesitate to recommend this product for the homeowner considering sweeping his/her own chimney.

Another defective product...
Once again, another bait and switch. I ordered this chimney brush believing it would arrive in "new" condition, but the box was completely destroyed when it showed up. However, the brush itself looked un-damaged, but alas, it was not to be. The threaded screw that should connect to the the rods was stripped--un-useable!. I couldn't connect it to them or any other nut that might allow this brush to useable. This is EXACTLY why "online shopping" can be such a complete scam. Just like McDonald's---"they screw you at the drive-thru," you don't see what you "really have" in the bag till you drive away. Same here. You pay for it, then you get it---and it's broken, defective, or simply NOT what you thought it was because you were buying a.... PICTURE---not the actual item that if you were buying it in a retail store you could actually handle and inspect.
