Can I wear this on my left hip instead of my right?

Yes, it's fully reversible. Flip the cradle and rotate the belt clip to whatever angle works for left-hand or right-hand carry. Most people set it once and don't touch it again.

One holster and one adjustable shoulder strap (1.25" wide, adjustable from 27" to 53"). You also get a steel belt clip and belt loop built into the holster itself, so you've got three carry options out of the box.

Is the entire inside of the holster padded?

The cradle base has a foam pad where your scanner rests, which absorbs shock from drops and hard-surface impact. The inside sides have a soft nylon material, not padded foam. That combination keeps the holster durable without adding bulk.
