I really like this device. It works well with different cup holder shapes. I have a 1999 Suzuki Grand Vitara with square cup holders and they fit well. I have used it in a 2014 Nissan Frontier with more traditional round cup holders and I've used it in a Chevy Van with square cup holders too. It fits in all of them. Holds securely. I like products that just get the job done.My one criticism is that the rubber contact pads on the feet of this slip a bit when it is very hot. The glue that holds these sticker pads on is perhaps not the best, but I was able to reposition these pads back to where the adhesive originally held it. I suspect that the device would still function even if one of the rubber pads slipped off, but it's not quite perfect. C'est la vie. I'm a function over form kind of guy anyway.

Two months seems a bit long to get. It has adjustable clamping tabs for the side and bottom, so that most cellphones are compatible ( if you have an Otterbox case some tweaks may be required to get it to hold with the case on), use the release button to allow the tabs to move. There seems to be several evaluations where they note it does not fit the cup holder. At the base of the flexible neck is a twist fixture/ring that extends/retracts outriggers that securely anchors the device in virtually all cup holders.

Saw a much more expensive version of this from a nationally known company. Very happy I saved some money by ordering here. Good quality and performs well so far.I had to remove any handy extra hardware...little disc holder...I had on the back of my cell phone case to make it fit or I may have rated higher.All-in-all, a good purchase. Adds to cell phone safety use in car or anywhere you have a cup holder and may need hands-free access.

I like this gadget well enough, however, the amount of expansion on the base could be just a little wider to create a more solid setting. Also, I would prefer if the arm was a little higher, say five or six inches, so I didn't have to look down so far to glance at the phone screen. The device grips the phone very well and the design allows for the phone to be hooked up to the charger as noted.

I have a leather case on my phone and this holder easily adapted to the size of the case. It holds it tightly so it doesn't slide around. This weekend will be my first time to give it a good workout as far as using it to hold the phone so I can see the GPS without having to mess with getting the phone to sit straight or pick it up off the floor where it has fallen while I'm driving. It has an adjustable arm which helps get it into a good position where I can see the phone screen best. Also it adjusts to fit the cup holder so it's not wiggling around. I've used it locally to find stores, restaurants etc. and it has been a big help.

It took exactly one month to receive this phone holder. The adjustable base would not turn so the arms would expand to fit in the cup holder. It is sturdy and inexpensive. Good buy if it worked. Trying to work out a return or refund. Update: Seller quickly responded to say they would be shipping me a replacement. So, another month to wait. UPDATE: Received a replacement that worked fine. For the price, this cellphone holder is a good buy other than the long wait.

Annoying that Amazon did not reveal that the product is not only made in China, but was mailed from Hunan. Box had no manufacturer or part information. Took many attempts to loosen the adjustable wings and bottom,that hold the phone and more to make the wings in the base protrude so the item fits in the cup holder without wobbling.

Worked in my 1990 Corvette's cup holder and held the cell phone either up/down or at 90 degrees. Not sure of the sturdiness, but it will be tested as i use the phone to broadcast my GPS position while volunteering for a big MS Bike Ride. Problem with delivery, but local postman tracked it down and gave it to me.
