Kumon K & Up World Geography Sticker Activity Book (Kumon Sticker Activity Books)

I'm doing a social studies with my child and I feel it's not meeting his needs. He doesn't need to hear long and deep details per continents. He simply needs to understand and memorize the continents before moving onto the continents details. Therefore, I purchased this for his next study. I will be using it for my child's 2nd half of 1st grade. It will fit in perfect.

Good book for basic geography. My 4 years old like it. Paper quality is good.

My 5yr old loved it!! A bit easy for him in terms of activity but we had good conversations about different countries and natural wonders.

My son loves this book, he did it in a week, he is 4 years old and is in love with it.

The book only includes little information about Asia and only about Chinese culture [which didn't contribute much in ancient times due to isolation (with all respect)] and Indian culture, that's it! Nothing about the most important civilization, the first civilization, that changed the world and civilized mankind, created the first written language, made the first laws, written laws, invented the wheel, discovered gold, invented glass and so on and so forth.Seriously? Nothing about Ur nor the Ziggurat?Seriously? nothing about the Holy Land, Bethlehem?Petra? The Dead Sea?Lake Baikal?Not even Russia, the beautiful Kremlins?Wow 👎🏻 extremely racist..

It’s ok. I love that there is K books that arent just about learning letters but it is pretty repetitive, like most K workbooks. Its the same 3-4 pages repeated over and over for different continents.

Wow! The book is well done and succeed at keeping the kids attention. The stickers are a most! A good book to beggin with!

I’m a big fan of Kumon books for my 3 and 6 year old kids, but this one was a flop. The majority of pages are tri-color maps. After coloring 5 continents green by page 5, my kid didn’t want to see the book ever again. This is one area where I think popular Montessori books show their strength over Kumon. Associate the countries with animals or popular foods and kids will never forget. But ask a 5-6 yr old to color a bunch of countries/continents and they’ll forget what they’re doing before they even finish coloring. That’s our experience anyway.

Extremely disappointed

I am a regular buyer of Kumon. My kid loves these books.
