Perfect midsize and weight binoculars giving a clear, sharp and bright view with accurate, untainted colour. I had been using x8 Vortex binoculars, worrying the x12 would give too much image shake. I was wrong, the x12 are perfect and I don't use the x8 now. The Diopter adjustment allows you to perfectly balance each eyepiece with each eye for perfect stereoscopic imaging giving excellent depth. Perfect for spotting wildlife for photography which is my use - scan, spot, switch to the camera. The lens and eyecup covers, along with the rubber coating and padded binocular case are perfect for tossing into a backpack for hiking or cycling - rugged build and perfect glass protection in rough conditions. The rubber coating also helps stabilise the view, leaning against a tree or pushed up onto a cyclone fence without slipping or damage giving a rock solid view.

Love these binocs. Had them for about two years and no buyers remorse. I have a cabin that overlooks a lake. I've handed these binocs to many guests to take the view. They hand them back to me and almost always compliment the binocs more than the lake. The focus is so easy and quick to adjust, which is handy for bird watching and switching between distances quickly. The 12X50 view is plenty wide. I have another set of 10X40 and the difference is noticeable. The clarity is crisp for this price, I find. One small issue, for me, the 12X magnification is great but will also magnify and movement, meaning you will need to keep your hand a little steadier. The eye relief can be set and locked, which is a nice feature, not having to readjust each time. The glass covers are a little cheap, but they do the job. And who looks through those anyways. I'd buy another if I needed.
