ESV Illuminated Scripture Journal: Luke

I have always wanted to read the Bible. However, the font is always too small, I would start with Genesis, the KJV can be confusing and more than anything, it’s difficult to write on the pages (which I do with most books).This journal has changed the game!!! It’s the English Standard Version, so much easier to understand, particularly for someone new to the Bible. I did some research and started with the Gospel of Luke, and it’s been a great experience. The font is “normal” sized (likely 10pt) and the journaling pages are awesome! There are faint grid points to help with writing, but I didn’t actually notice them until I was about 25% through. Even then, it didn’t really matter.The book itself is GORGEOUS and was far sturdier, heavier and beautiful than I expected!This scripture journal is a no-brainer. Excellent for those beginning their understanding of the Bible or those who know the words by heart. I have every intention on purchasing the entire set. 10/10 worth it, the price is incredible and you will not be disappointed!

We have been reading a chapter a day for Advent & are able to make notes on the opposite of each page & those lovely gold scripture quotes & designs on random pages are lovely. I’m very happy with this gospel book.

The graphic design on the pages are beyond amazing. The print job is phenomenal! I love dissecting the Word, and this Bible has the perfect amount of room to draw, paint, or write. The grid also helps keep journaling or drawing in tact. Absolutely love it!

Lots of room fornotes on the thick paper, I imagine it would be very good for Bible journaling.

Great if you want to add notes on certain verses. The paper is quite thick.

Great Bible study resource. Easy to read translation. The journal pages being included with each page of text is what really makes this item great.The pages are a bit thin so I paste in some journaling cards and decorate the journal pages to minimize bleed-through when I use pens. I don't mind because I like to decorate when I journal.As for the Illumination aspect... I thought there would be more color. It's all just this flat gold/bronze-ish color.
