A very good power supply
I bought this 60VDC power supply to power my X and Y NEMA 23 425 oz-in closed-loop steppers for my 4-axis DIY gantry router machine. I read the previous reviews and so was wary. As soon as it arrived, I opened the case to inspect the electronic components. All were shiny, new components. There was no sign of burning that another customer noted. I also measure the voltage output with both steppers running at the same time and didn't see any voltage drop. Admittedly, this was on a benchtop test setup, so there was no load on the steppers. Once I get the machine operational, I'll test the voltage with the steppers under load and update this review if I see any degredation. But I think you'll find this a very satisfactory power supply for your home project(s).

Works well, but don't overload it.
Can't beat the price and it works well if you are careful to only run it at 80% of it's capacity or less. It's got 4 stars since this is my second one, my first one failed after running it at around 550W. I'm running this one at 480W and it's working well so far.

Excellent value machine!
Fantastic value as i managed to get a cheaper "damaged" one, that only had packaging damage. I love these supplies as i just hook them up to my DC-DC converter to get the volt/amperage i need and fine-tune them. Very reliable in my experience.

Beware, pay attention to the bad reviews on this.
The media could not be loaded. Very disappointing. All of the cob screws are missing, one of the fan screws is missing, two of the case lid screws are missing. Regulator clamps were loose allowing the board to just flop around. This unit has obviously been used, taken apart and lazily put back together. I will be shocked if it even works. (Will update later on that). Will never buy this brand again and will make sure everyone I know is aware of it. I know they’re cheap but you’re far better off to buy something different.

This might be ok, if you know what you are doing.
My preliminary inspection found a burnt resistor, shown in the picture. A second resistor (not pictured) showed slight yellowing, also suggesting damage from internal heating, though not nearly as bad.As this is supposed to be a brand new supply, and one that I myself have never powered up, it does raise the question why this resistor is so badly damaged. Did it get damaged during the testing process? Is there something else wrong with the board? Is this power supply actually capable of a sustained 10A output? However, I don't immediately need the full 10A output, and I really can't argue with the price, as a power supply in this category from a well-established brand would cost several times more. So I'm inclined to try to fix this up and see how well it works, though I don't have the test equipment to properly measure the limits of this supply. So my final review will have to wait.

Can’t change anything
Don’t expect to use it as a charger like I did. You’ll find out when you get the instructions

Fan is 2 darn loud also has derating sticker 'use only 80%' 480 isn't 600Watts should be 80% cost
It seems to work OK but sticker on unit says to only use 80% power which effectively means it should be labeled 480 watts or 60V@8A quite misleading in my opinion. The fan is EXTREMELY loud I suspect it is being driven at a higher than rated voltage (+24 not +12) than mfgr intended which is another red flag but may be suitable for certain projects but NOT audio at least with the fan noise being this unbearably loud. I prefer truthful advertising when shopping for components. The devices that are, generally are of a higher quality in my experience. For a diy CNC machine or other motor driven projects it may be better suited for than audio project. I bought 2 of them they still work so 3 stars is the best i can do.

It didn't last. After 1 hour
It became hot to the touch right away. The I turned the volts down from 59 to 49 volts. Still felt hot. I let it cool. Then turned it on and burned out. Don't buy this brand.
