Great product and easy installation for the Yakery back up camera for a travel trailer.
Camera works very well, much better than the previous one I had. I never lose signal, and the image displayed is very clear. I appreciate the size of the display monitor nice and easy to see. I don’t regret throwing away the previous backup camera I had at all.

Great product for a fair price
I purchased this camera backup system around three weeks ago and I'm amazed by it. The screen measures 7 inches diagonally corner to corner. The picture is clear and in color. The camera system came packaged very well which included a monitor with several menu buttons, camera with 24 light diodes for night time use, mounting brackets for dash or windshield mounting and cigarette lighter adopter for quick powering of the monitor. Even though the system is advertised as a wireless system, there is a minimum wiring needed. The picture is transmitted wirelessly, but both the camera and monitor need power for each. There are two ways of using this system. You can run constant power from a constantly energized wire such as the cigarette lighter which will always power up the monitor and camera, or you can connect it to the reverse lights so the camera and monitor only come on while the car is in reverse. If you're not really familiar with car wiring, then all you need to do is connect the given power cable to the cigarette lighter socket to the monitor and run a single power wire and ground to the camera, which will always keep the monitor powered on. The monitor can be displayed with or without parking lines. The direction state that if you want the parking lines, all you have to do is cut a white wire connected to the camera, I discovered that there is a simple menu change that will add or take away the parking lines. This camera backup system was easy to install and a fantastic product for the price.

You need this for your RV/ maybe not!
Very easy to install! Please make sure you donot mount in place of center marker light without the light. DOT could issue you a citation. Clear picture and was so easy to install. Have not tried night vision as of yet but will update!Update: 07/2/2021 Just left for a fourth of July camping trip and camera was intermittent. Only the above tag mounted camera would work sometimes. Upon arrival at the campground I had to back in my spot in pouring down rain along w with no spotter. Backup mounted to the rear of rv only came on once for me to back up. When it worked it was fantastic. I dont know what to do at this point, sad!Customer service is OUTSTANDING, tech suggested re-pairing which I had already tried numerous times. I honestly believe it's a signal issue. The problem will be solved somehow and will again update.Update:10/07/2021 Left for a campground that I and my wife will be hosting at, camera worked very well as I had setup and moved camper several times due to sun and shade issues. Both installed camera worked great!!

EZ Backup Camera Install, esp over large distance
I have installed a number of backup cameras in the past and recommended a wireless system for a friend who pulls his race car behind his RV. I ordered the iStrong Wireless system for him and helped him install and set it up.From the moment you open the box, the quality of the materials is evidentThere are numerous ways to mount the system. Photos one, two and three show the use of the suction mount. Photo 1 shows the monitor suction mounted and attached to the rear of the unit. Photo 2 shows how the suction attached to the back of the monitor. You can also use the suction mount by screwing into the bottom of th monitor, as shown in photo 3. Photo 4 shows the monitor in the bracket mount. Photo 5 shows the “fan” surface mount. Attachment of this mount requires you to put two pieces together as shown in photo 6. It is not obvious how to do this, but you remove the thumb screw and then use it to clamp the one piece onto the lower “fan” base. The picture quality looks the same as on my 4.3” unit, just larger. It is certainly not High Def, but it is quite satisfactory and much easier to see what you’re observing on a larger screen. The signal is great and connects easily upon pressing the “pair” button on the camera.Included is a “power antenna” if your camera and monitor are separated by too great a distance, but it was not required in the distance separated by the length of our RV.As in any backup camera system, wiring a camera power source requires a bit of work, but once done, that’s it because there is no need to run an RCA cable through the vehicle up to the head unit.Great customer service too.The unit is more expensive than a smaller, wired system, but the ease of getting your signal from the rear to the front without running wires makes this a great purchase.I’m very happy with the purchase.
