BEST Winter Coat..... Hands Down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have to admit, I am very surprised at how well this coat is made. I purchased 2 other coats earlier this winter, but they just couldn't stand up to the cold. After reading all the reviews, I decided to purchase this coat. The packaging was nice, and the plastic bag the coat was wrapped in was a nice touch...... After shaking out the coat, the down fill fluffed out nicely and so did the fur on the hood. It looks EXACTLY like the photo but better in person. The blue is more of a medium royal blue than the lighter blue pictured. It's very lovely to look at :) The coat is 80% duck down and 20% water fowl feathers. The hood has pull cords on each side of the hood to make it smaller. I like all the pockets on the front and even has a pocket hidden in right sleeve. The inside pockets are amply made for large cell phones, and came with extra snaps and buttons. As far as the fit goes..... I was concerned about what some of the reviewers had posted this coat was running big, but after trying it on, my fears were laid to rest. I am a fairly small lady that stands 5'5" tall, weight 120 lbs and wear a size 3. The coat reaches down to the back of my knees. The zipper is easy to use, and the looped buttons are a nice touch. The sleeves are also down filled, and the thick knit cuffs with thumbs holes are a great feature, most winter coat manufacturers do not include . The back of the coat and sleeves have a narrow reflective strip which can easily be seen at night. What I like most about the coat is it's been coated with Scotch guard for stain/water resistance. It is wind resistant and rated for extreme cold winter weather. The fit is very comfortable with enough room for wearing a bulky sweater or hoodie underneath. **All in all, this coat is well made, it has weight to it, is warm and has all the features of the more expensive brands........ BUT at a fraction of the cost.** I would HIGHLY recommend this coat for any woman living in extremely cold climates wanting value, quality, durability and warmth. Update: After wearing this coat outside for almost a week, all I can say...... I LUV IT! Its really really warm and you CANT feel the cold wind! UPDATE 2: 10/14/18 I can't give the maker of this coat enough credit. It's seen all types of weather from icy rain, snow and sleet, to sub zero temps (-50 windchill in Milwaukee WI) , it did exactly as claimed. It kept me warm and dry. Didn't feel the icy wind, nor did I need a heavy hoodie underneath the coat because it gets too warm...LOL

This is an amazing coat at a fantastic price
This is an amazing coat at a fantastic price. The quality is great, the coat is very warm and thick, but not as heavy as comparable coats I've tried, overall very comfortable to wear and move around in. It runs a bit on the big side. I'm 5'5, 145 lbs, my measurements are 36-27-40, size XS fits me perfectly even though I usually wear a size 8(S/M) in most clothes. It's knee-length on me, and the sleeves are perfect with the cuffs and thumb holes (which might mean that they could be too short for a taller woman). I'm not expecting having to wear a heavy sweater underneath, the coat is extremely warm, so I opted for a closer fit. The faux fur collar is gorgeous, much more beautiful in person, and WAY more beautiful than the ones I've seen on even much more expensive coats. The red color was the only thing I didn't love, but my screen may be too blame for that. On my screen it looked more pink/raspberry, but in person it was a much less vibrant/aggressive deep red. It's a beautiful color, just a little too subdued for my personal taste, so I exchanged it for the black coat. Couldn't be happier. I haven't worn it out in the cold yet, but I don't expect any issues. If anything noteworthy comes up, I'll update this review accordingly.

Fantastic coat, great price!
Happily this coat arrived in the middle of a record-setting cold snap in Chicago. I commute downtown and have to wait for the train then walk to my office and -7 at 8:00 a.m. is beyond brutal! Having this coat has made it so much better - it's very, very warm and the hood is great (I haven't had problems with it staying up as others have, but maybe because I'm also wearing ear muffs). Agree with other reviewers that the pockets are placed a bit high and awkwardly, but it's a small nit to pick. I also have been struggling to get the zipper lined up. It has to be absolutely perfectly aligned and it ends up taking 5-6 tries which is annoying, but hopefully it will get easier over time. I ordered a small and it fits great with or without layers (I'm 5' 6" and 127 lbs.). The cobalt color is really pretty - been getting a ton of compliments. I'm kind of amazed by how warm this coat is considering the price. I have several more expensive long Columbia coats that I feel cold in when it goes below 32 degrees. I may just manage to make it through another Chicago winter with this coat! ;)

Good-looking, comfy, and WARM! A+++
I live in Minnesota, so you know I need a very warm coat. This is exactly the one I hoped it would be. It is warm, warm, warm -- I wore it just now in 25 degree F weather with a stiff breeze blowing. First I walked a mile wearing my usual warm winter pullover underneath: too warm. (!!) Then I walked another mile wearing a light silk tee shirt underneath and was perfectly warm. Verdict: this coat will be warm enough for the 20 below zero weather we'll have in January! The size is just right: I'm 5'6" and a size 10 and the medium fit perfectly. There's room for a thick sweater underneath if I should need one. The cuffs kept the wind from going up my sleeves, and the hood kept my neck warm. Others have said the hood is too big -- it is very roomy but I liked that. My thick winter hat fit under it, and in January I'll be able to protect my face within it. The blue color is lovely; bright enough to get me through the winter but deep enough to hide the grit from leaning up against the car or a light post. (Minnesota is very gray in the winter; a bright coat is such a pick-me-up.) I'm a very happy customer! - Which is not to say it couldn't be improved. The pockets aren't positioned to put your hands in comfortably: come on! And that dorky patch on the sleeve had to go immediately (five minutes with a seam ripper; right now I can see where the stitches were, but that will resolve in time, and no one else will notice). Personally, I'd prefer snaps to buttons because they're easier to fasten and unfasten when wearing thick mittens. But OMG to have a coat this good looking and did I mention WARM, I can put up with these relatively minor complaints. This coat is the real deal, and the price is great! If you live in a cold place you should buy it right now.

I've owned lots, and this is the best winter coat ever.
Whoever designed this coat should get a raise. I had purchased four coats online and all had to be sent back, and they were more than twice the cost. This coat is perfect for the cold windy days of dog walking in Northeast Ohio. Finally, a coat that has pockets for keys, poop bags, cell phone, gloves, and a coin purse if we stop for a latte on the way home from the park. The two way zipper seemed a little prone to stick at first, but after a few zips up and down it is easy to use and runs smoothly. It zips all the way up to include the well padded stand up collar, so no need for a scarf around the neck, unless you are wanting to make a fashion statement. Absolutely no cold air blows in even along the length of the zipper. The entire coat really is wind resistant. I have not had to button the storm flap yet. The knit cuffs are long, thick and keep my wrists and arms warm. Other coats I have had also had cuffs, but they were thin, short and useless. Overall it is not too heavy as some other coats I have had, and were not as warm. On top of everything else the red is a beautiful true red, not orangey, not pink, and not garnet. Thinking about getting the cobalt also because I love this coat so much and am afraid they may discontinue it in the future, and I don't want to be without one. Buy it, you won't regret it.

Whoa! Beautiful coat...A little snug
UPDATE: Left it at work. Put it on this am cause it is COLD, didn't have on as many layers, kept me quite warm, I still felt like I could have used another layer. Everyone at work LOVED THIS COAT! All the features are over the top. They all know I found this during my search for Canadian Goose ๐ขcan't believe people pay that much for a coat! The price for this was a tenth! Now everyone at work wants one. Oh and the color is much nicer in person! I like it and am so glad I purchased when I did cause looks like they don't have many left. ๐ I am 5'2" 197lbs., I thought after reading other reviews that this would be way to big..well it is an xl which is supposed to be an 18, it fits like a 14-16 on me, I"m keeping it because I did just lose 17 lbs on WW and expecting to lose more. I love this coat, the color, the pockets. It is heavyyyy, yes indeedy, and I thought I wasn't going to get it to fasten but I took off a layer of clothing ( had on a thick cashmere sweater and a long fleece sleeveless vest) and it actually fit pretty well, which informs me that I likely will not have to wear as many layers for standing on the corner waiting for bus in the most frigid east coast temperatures, which I hate wearing all those clothes. It is a thick, beefy coat but pretty and though I feel like a sausage I don't look like one in it.

Overall fine. Though it's warm enough
Overall fine. Though it's warm enough, it is a bit heavy and the fur around the hood keeps touching my eyes and face, which is very irritating.
