Just the case I was looking for
I had previously owned the TUDIA Ultra Tough OMNIX [Heavy Duty] Hybrid Full-body Protective Case with Front Cover and Built-in Screen Protector / Impact Resistant Bumpers Cover for OnePlus One (Metallic Slate) which is another excellent quality case from Tudia. The only issue that I had with that case is that it made the already rather large (but still slim enough) OnePlus One into a behemoth. That case looked and felt great, however, and protected my phone from numerous drops. But the phone always felt a bit too large in it for me, especially in the pocket. When my glass screen protector cracked (nothing to do with the previously mentioned Tudia case, it was just the angle of the fall) I decided to go ahead and replace the protector, and look for a new, slimmer case, that still offered drop protection. As previously stated, I was very impressed and satisfied with my other Tudia case, so I wanted something from the Tudia product lines. I settled on this case, as it seemed to meet all of my requirements of being slimmer while still providing adequate protection. The case met all my expectations. It fits very snugly, the phone does not move inside the case at all. It is very attractive looking - I got the metal slate color, which is smooth on the back, but does not feel slippery like some other plastic cases. The attention to detail is very nice - for instance the thermoplastic I believe they call it (the rubbery inner layer) even covers the small space between the rear camera and led flash. Most cases just have a cutout for that entire portion. The volume button portion feels very nice and clicky, like pushing actual buttons rather than the mushy feeling that can be found on some other cases. The power button portion is a little more mushy - nothing bad, just not as good as the volume buttons. It's just a little more difficult to get feedback that it was pressed (other than the obvious feedback - screen goes on and off). I use the double tap to wake up function of the OPO more often than the power button, so I hardly ever notice it.As for durability, I can only assume it will hold up nearly as well as my aforementioned larger Tudia case. Only time will tell. That case, however, stood up to a lot of abuse and dirty environments and paint ( I work as a painting contractor ). So I assume this one will as well. I'll update this review once I've owned it longer, and talk more to its durability. As for price - this a great value. I got it for $12.99. It looks and feels a whole lot more expensive than that.If you need a case for your OnePlus One, and you have $12.99 to spend, and you like one of the colors this case is offered in (or even if you don't) - just buy it.

Well built and reasonably priced case
About two months ago, I purchased this for $13, along with an Orzly premium tempered glass for $10, for use with my OnePlus One (OPO). The case and protective glass fit flush with the OPO, and I was able to easily control the volume and power buttons. The build quality is relatively good and I have had no damage or wear to the rubberized coating, notwithstanding the phone being subject to daily wear and tear. The OPO has even survived a four foot drop with this case. The only criticism I have is the friction coefficient of the rubberized coating is too low, meaning that the phone is more prone to slip with the case on, as opposed to without the case. I suspect there are some trade-offs in designing a case, because you want the case to be slick to some degree to be able to easily get the phone out of your pocket, especially if wearing skinny jeans. However, this doesn't work well if you were to take the phone to the gym, and put it on a cell phone holder on a cross trainer, or a treadmill. TUDIA may want to take cue from the sandstone texture of the 64 GB back panel. It strikes that perfect balance in my humble opinion. This is why I took off one star from the review.I would like to address reoccurring allegations that appear in critical reviews, because they almost dissuaded me from purchasing this case. These include the case not fitting flush with the phone, the pieces not fitting together, and peel of rubberized coating. My two month experience does not reflect the critical reviews. I suspect that these issues may be indicative of a manufacturing defect, which may be confined to specific lots. These issues are likely to show up within the first 30 days, and if it happens to you, you may be able to exchange, or return the case.

A sleek, protective OnePlus One case that can't be beat for the price.
So the story goes that I had just bought a new OnePlus One phone, and there were like literally 10 cases total to choose from unlike other phones where there is usually like 100+ cases to choose from. I wanted something strong enough to prevent cracks from drops and at the same time not be heavy or clunky. The the search began, and I came upon this guy, the Tulia CYGEN. I'm not a fan of the other plastic colored covers but the matte black seemed to be what i was looking for, it also looked very sleek online. So I pulled the trigger and ordered. After putting on the case, I noticed it looks very sleek. Quite frankily probably one of the sleekest cases for the oneplus one. It seems to protect the phone quite well with 2 layers, the bottom one being the tpu rubber which goes over the face of the phone just a bit to prevent screen scratching and protects corners excellently. The back case that goes around the buttons is great too and provides a decent amount of grip. It's a solid case, and I'd probably get it again, but there are 2 drawbacks. The only issues I had with this case is that:1) The matte grip isn't as grippy as I was hoping. With phones this big you need better grip to attempt to use it one handed.2) When i click the power on button it seems to take 2 tries at times. That may be just a setting on my phone, but since it worked fine when i first used the phone, it may be the case. At the end though, if you can't find a gripper sleeker looking case, get this. You won't regret it.Also my matte black is not peeling off like other reviews.

Almost Perfect
EDIT2: After owning it for approx 1.5 years, just wanted to come back and leave a more updated review. The rough edges have smoothed down and is no longer a problem, and I'm the kind of person to drop kick my phone a lot, it has protected my phone perfectly. However, removing the case is very difficult, be careful while you do it. Unfortunately, I have cracked the back cover of my phone in a few places, while doing so. So everything I've said previously still stands, but I am happy that it works as intended and protects the phone, provided you leave it on all the time.EDIT: So it turns out the 3.5 mm jack at the top can only fit standard sized cables. My HD 6X0 cable was too large to fit, so sadly I can't listen to it on my phone, unless I remove the case. :( The worst part is, removing the case is pretty difficult. Oh well, I guess. Another thing to add to the things to improve list.A few things I don't like about this case:- Power button is not that easy to press, which is strange because the volume buttons are great- The cutouts on the bottom for the charger and speakers are not that smooth, doesn't feel good holding phone with one hand- Cutouts for the speaker also changes the way it sounds, and you have to cup your hand around it to hear it better when watching videos- The edge on the bottom of the face will hurt your hand because it's not smoothed out, which is also weird because the left and right side are satisfyingly smooth. Top isn't smoothed out either, but no one really holds their phone upside down so there's thatBut all in all, it looks good, seems like it will last, and seems to protect the phone pretty well. It is a tad heavier than I imagined, but I don't mind. I love all the other cutouts, camera cutout is perfect, audio jack cutout is large enough, charger cutout could actually be a bit smaller, but I'm not going to complain. Worth the money, would buy again.

Great stuff
Highly highly highly recommend. This is supposedly the toughest 1+1 cover available. I drop my phone on an almost daily basis and this cover made my phone unbreakable.A little bulky, but compared to other covers of this level of protection, the cover isn't that bulky! I personally quite liked the mild bulk, and it looked much less horrifying than those rugged armour ones. In fact, it's a pretty great looking cover. Also, I have rather small hands and pockets, and it worked fine with them.Wish they had an equivalent for the 3t which I plan to switch to.

Would recommend
My case arrived in 14 days in a small bubbled envelope. The case fits with my tempered glass screen protector although I had some trouble at the beggining fitting the case. The power button was always being pushed down but after a couple of tries and pushing the case in the opposite side to try to make it less tight, the case now fits perfectly. The buttons are a charm to use; although they reallly dont need a lot of pressure to be activated they do give a nice "click". The cuttouts are subtle enough to not be noticed but they are big enough to fit all of the cables and microphones...I got white version wich comes with a reflective paint which means it will get scrached with the time.In summary, I would recommend this case to anyone who likes its looks, a protected cellphone and finally a good quality product,

Awesome case!
Just got this case and I love it. It fits the phone perfectly and gives it a little extra thickness that makes the case and phone feel sturdy and durable. The button presses are responsive and still give a clicking feedback. The back plastic has a nice smooth feeling, and the TPU feels smooth and sturdy, but gives you that extra grip. To those saying the case is clunky - of course it does. Its a 2 piece case for an almost 6-inch phone. What else were you expecting?

good grip and a strong quality-feel from the material used
good grip and a strong quality-feel from the material used.Fits perfectly on OPO, apparent good protection, although haven't tested it yet,,Looks very good in matte black, and plays nice with the tempered glass protector previously installed.Major problem very specific: does not partner well with scoshe magnetic plate from the car support I use.I had the plate between smartphone and previous cover, and it fit well.On this one, the edges of the rigid back protection are slightly raised due to the scosche plate on the inside of the cover. It is very small misfit, but clear and slitghly annoying while gripping.
