New toy! Fun and effective balance training
I think this is the first review I have ever written on Amazon. That is how much I love this new toy of mine.I purchased this board to help train for a 21 mile SUP race in order to get more time on the board. I considered the Goofboard and Indo board as part of my research and ultimately decided on this one. A couple of reasons for this:1. Is bi-directional. This was the biggest deciding factors. You can use it both 'ways' with the bumper placement on either side. Really helpful for getting started. The ability to turn it closely mimics foot placement on a paddle board.2. Decking material very similar to paddle board top- can easily jump on and off with bare feet. Will help with my foot 'grip strength' if that makes sense.3. Company solvency. Revolution seems to be developing and releasing new products while the Goofboard is discontinuing models. I wanted to purchase a product from a company that is doing new R&D for their products so that they would be there for support.4. Customer service. I chatted with someone on their team while doing my research. The online chat feature (on their website) was helpful in making sure I bought the right product for my practice.I have had this board for about a week now and have consistently used it for 30-45 mins on my 'rest' workout days. It is super fun and I set it up in the living room with a blanket underneath for more traction since I have tile floors. My boyfriend loves it too and we have to take turns while we are hanging out watching tv and cooking dinner. It took about one session to feel fairly solid. I still use the counter as a crutch in case I go too far. Could easily use a broom handle or the back of a chair for getting started. Just make sure that you have a carpet or something with a deeper pile which will help you starting off. I used a sheepskin throw over a yoga mat and intend to remove the sheepskin for a faster 'ride' once I feel pretty solid with my technique.Net-net, if you are looking for a fun way to build stability and strength, I think this product is fantastic. Easy to get started. I would recommend this for any athlete trying to cross train. My boyfriend is a cyclist and I run/paddle and am an aspiring yogi. I can't wait to see how this impacts all my workouts.I am even thinking of getting one for my 65+ yo mom for Mother's Day!Enjoy!

Good add to the workout.
I bought this to help with balance. It works. Also threw it into my workout routine and to squats, curls, anything I can on it.Still having a problem with the hard level but will get there.Well made, decent price, worth the cost. No complaints.

Love it! Fun and will get you moving.
I've only had it a few days and I've been using it constantly. It's definitely challenging and awesome on your legs. As an avid kite/snow/longboarder, I needed something like this to give me something to do at home.I spend every second on it if I'm watching a show or playing a video game. My balance has already improved a bit and I can feel it working my leg muscles! I've started attempting some spins and squats as well. Definitely adds to the workout.Water sport enthusiasts, this is great for you because the stops on the bottom can be swapped to the long edges, which allows you to work on wave-type balance scenarios. With the stoppers off completely it's even MORE challenging, and you can twist and turn to your heart's content.Only "complaint" (which is negligible) is that the blue part of the board is a different material that gets a bit slippery if you're on it barefoot. But it's only after you've been on it long enough for your feet to sweat, and even then - just wear socks! It's very comfortable to stand on, very sturdy wood with soft and durable foam on top, and the roller hasn't damaged my hardwood floor even with all of my falling!Anyway, I highly recommend this to beginners or advanced balance boarders, as it can be changed to work for you. Also great for snowboarders who struggle with rail balance, and surfers (and basically any board sport). And it's pretty!

I have had 4 ACL replacements and need to keep my core strong and do a lot of balance training to compensate for my crappy knees
I bought the Rev board after borrowing my upstairs neighbor's Indo board for a few days. I took a chance by ordering this instead because it was a little cheaper. I have had 4 ACL replacements and need to keep my core strong and do a lot of balance training to compensate for my crappy knees. I also do enough supping that I've realized my balance needs some work. This is probably the single best thing out there for that. The board and roller themselves are great. While I ordered it sight unseen to save a few bucks, I actually like this better than the Indo board because of the lightly padded surface. It feels kind of like neoprene and gives you better grip if you're doing this barefoot, which I usually am - and more comfortable on your feet than the weird graininess/textured top of the Indo board.I also ordered just a generic wobble cushion to use with it as well when working out. While I can balance on the roller just by itself, I'm not yet confident enough in my balancing skills to use it for squats or other exercises. The cushion underneath provides a slightly easier option for that kind of stuff.February 2016 update - Reducing from 5 status to 3 a while I still like and use it, I'm not quite as thrilled with it. Within the first month, the black coating glued on to the tube started to come unglued. I have attempted to contact the company repeatedly via email, via their website, via their website chat feature, etc., and I have never heard back despite repeat attempts. To me, that's not exactly great customer service, since they don't stand behind their product. The coating has entirely unraveled and it's now down to the naked plastic tube. Wish I'd just spent the extra $20 and bought an indo board in the first place. If I were to buy it again, that's definitely what I'd do.March 2016 - After seeing my February update, the company reached out and offered to send me a new roller. Apparently the one I had was an older version. This newer one seems much better, and unlike the old one, hasn't started coming unglued in just a couple weeks. I'm glad they made this right even though it had been so long since I bought it. The board itself was always very nice, and with the new roller, it's now a complete quality product.
